I think what I miss most is how simple photography felt when I first got into it. driving a couple hours for sunrise, knowing you’d only get 10–15 minutes of good light or waiting 30 minutes at a spot just so I can include a couple in my foreground.
you can’t really recreate those moments, even if you go back to the same place.
now, with how much media we consume everyday, it definitely feels like everything’s already been shot. like you’re just one of a lot of photographers doing the same thing.
but looking back at these, I remember why I enjoyed it in the first place. earning the shot.
no real point here. just something I’ve been thinking about lol
There’s something about a compact setup that makes you want to shoot more.
