As the winds of autumn begin to turn us inwards towards the descent of winter, we are delighted to share a profoundly stunning moment captured in the heady wilds of high summer with LINTD's live presentation of Dogtooth {from The Black Impossible}, live at The White Hotel; a most moving manic marriage of the fallen and the divine.
All at HEAD II are immensely proud of this project, its reception and the wonderful world that LINTD has imagined into being - thanks to all those who have listened, purchased and supported along the way.

A musical, body movement, and body music performance, accompanied by a live A/V. The black Impossible is a live exploration of tangible, yet unimaginably volatile moments of pro-black utopia in 3 albums worth of music. Over 3 years of studied, studious experimentation, LINTD, in partnership with The White Hotel and Head II, have created a musical world to explore the divine, yet unsustainable black utopias that manifest on the sonic extremes of our current anti-black reality.
LINTD will be joined by Porter Brook (producer), Fyn Dobson (drums) and Tibyan Sanoh's live AV featuring Imani Jendai.

It’s Friday the 13th, the most fitting of days for an old Brothers Grimm fairytale to be reimagined as a contemporary demon affair as HEAD II proudly release LINTD’s debut album, Dogtooth. And Other Such Tales Of The Macabre digitally and on limited edition 12” vinyl.
Bringing the music to life is the haunting and stunning music video for Malice, the 2nd single from the album, directed by Tibyan Mahawah Sanoh.

Time to lower ourselves deeper into the seductive sunken swell of LINTD’s debut LP DOGTOOTH. And Other Such Tales Of The Macabre.
DOGTOOTH is LINTD’s contemporary take on a Brothers Grimm fairytale; an expression of the artist’s experience of paranoia of Black life in the West, tempered with solitude, God and love as tender weapons. The work offers a haunting reclamation of the Black African macabre as an utopian space, where pain, joy, neurosis and pleasure is explored with equal and seamless ferocity and features collaborators including Porter Brook, Space Afrika, Fyn Dobson and Chande.
LINTD is the solo project of Nigerian born and Manchester based musician, composer, producer and filmmaker Iyunoluwanimi Yemi-Shodimu.
The stunning artwork photography is courtesy of LINTD and The White Hotel’s resident photo-archivist Timon Benson; North Manchester has never looked so gothically delicious.
Pre-orders are now available via Bandcamp with the album released via HEAD II both digitally and on limited edition vinyl on Friday 13th June.

Rainy Miller and Blackhaine jet out to the EUROPEAN MAINLAND this week as both are presenting bespoke one-off shows as part of Berlin’s best 10 day traumazone, Atonal Festival, all the while, Team HEAD II are left to tough it out alone, stuck back in Blighty with very little CULTURE but a lifetime of English summer rain.

Throughout the month of September, HEAD II are ALL EARS and open to music submissions for our 2024 release schedule. We are primarily interested in artists based in Manchester and the NW of England but open to all submissions from interesting and engaging artists.
