These new pieces are part of an ongoing series of work informed by the industrial processes of mining and shaping stone at a family-owned quarry along the Berea sandstone formation in Northeastern Ohio.

The 12-foot diamond-tipped block saw — During the summer of 2017 and the winter of 2024, we spent time documenting and observing the operations of a family-owned quarry along the Berea sandstone formation in Northeastern Ohio. Informed by the industrial processes of mining and shaping the stone, we created a collection of lamps presented by @leibal during New York Design Week 2024.
