This one we recorded in 1-take last summer is finally out, it's a song for those more somber or hopeful moments."somewhere good" out on all platforms, the cover art painting I did a couple years before, was about time repeating itself but never perfectly...So this track was a group creation at @bigjellystudios and finished back here in London, everyone check out the contributors, honestly I think I've been blessed to work with some of the best musicians about:@tomssymonds writer, arrangement, riff and best solo of all time @balthazardd writer, arrangement and some of the most precise and flow-state drumming I have witnessed@lucasashbyy writer, arrangement, producer, mixing engineer- on top of all of that laying down faultless locked-in Bass glueing it together @lumaeaudio writer, recording engineer- allowing us to capture this 1-take wonder and have it translate how it deserves, and adding the cherry on top with those beautiful keys @werkhouse Mastering, ensuring you can feel the energy of the track no matter where you are listening

Had a great time cooking for @interrupted.art x @drinkamie private event last week.. couldn't of done it without my boy @felixmartin79 It was a great night, few canapés and then family style eating for 20 guests.. though I may of cooked enough for 40 Both amazing teams, thanks for having me, I really enjoyed creating and cooking in a great space (nice wine on tap wasn't too shabby)Check out the menu in the slides ️ next supper club is in planningWicked photos by @mmillieHand painted menus @saffronlulu

We got a good 4/5 songs done on this trip and roles varied on each one, but for 'somewhere good' I wanted to say I am blessed to of co-written this one with these talented musicians featured below, in no particular order:@toby_one_kenobi._ recording engineer on all the tracks and playing keys on this one, whilst avoiding gluten at all costs@balthazardd a master with the sticks , saying "bro thats fire" or "this one is my favourite" and guiding me to tap into soemthing more vulnerable for the lyrics on this one@tomssymonds laying down one of the best solos of all time (seriously you wait), coming up with the riff, all whilst constantly asking when the food is ready@lucasashbyy locked-in on the bass and general voice of reason when in-fighting occurred.. plus helping to finish the recordings in his London attic studio, with vocal coaching that has stopped me shouting on every trackAnd big shout to @bigjellystudios what a space ‍

Been digging through old show pics and green rooms this week. Mad how many tiny moments you forget. Nerves. Laughter. Munching. Friends drifting in and out. Rooms that felt too big then too small.Funny looking back now with another show round the corner. Feels like all of it was pointing to next week, just another phase of this journey, hopefully getting better each time and but defo having fun along the way.If you’ve been part of any of these nights in any way… thank you.See you in the room soon.

BITES & BEATS was a MOVIE!Thank you to everyone who came down. The vibes were unreal, and across our two-part series everyone really turned up and had fun. A couple of margs down you and the well-fed people definitely brought the energy straight onto the dance floor!We’re super excited for the next one - it’s going to be our biggest ever, and yes… we’ve got a surprise waiting.
