💕Book Review💕 Today it’s my stop on the book tour for No Place Like You by @jillianmeadowswrites When childhood friends Fable and Theo enter into a fake dating scheme will their true feelings for each other complicate matters? Having read Give Me Butterflies I was really looking forward to the next book in this series. I really enjoyed this read and the time I spent in Fern River. The storyline included tension, romance and the friends to lovers and fake dating tropes. Fable was a brilliant character. She is very headstrong and independent. The only issue is that she doesn’t like to ask for help. She was made it her mission to restore her late grandfather’s A-frame cabin and plans to do all the renovations herself, but to say that the cabin needs a little TLC would be an understatement. My heart did break for Fable because it is clear that she was very close to her grandfather and to be at the cabin is to be close to him. But she does find herself out of her depth. Theo is looking to buy the veterinary practice that he works at but the owner is looking for someone who is settling down. So Theo comes up with a plan that will help both him and Fable. He will help Fable renovate the cabin if she becomes his fake girlfriend. I loved the connection between Fable and Theo because it was so natural. They just click and despite not being in contact for a while they reconnect quickly. The banter between them really made me smile. Their friendship quickly turns into something more and the lines in their fake relationship starts to blur. At times it did feel like they were in a real relationship and because of their chemistry I could understand why people around them thought they were a real couple. It’s clear that Theo falls for Fable first but from a young age they both liked each other but an event took place that stopped anything from progressing between them. In some ways Fable and Theo have to address what happened in the past to move forward. If you love small town romances with the friends to lovers and fake dating tropes this is one to add to your list. #NoPlaceLikeYou #bookreview #bookcommunity #bookworm #booklover

• Book 39 of 2026 • 📖 Heartsong by S E Wendel 📚 Recent Campaign by @instabooktours The story in 3 emojis: 🌶️🪽❤️ Highlights from the book: •A Monster & Fae Romance •War of the Underhill series (Book 1) •Spicy content ℝ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After meeting Carys and Gavriel in the prequel and thinking they were pretty bad-ass in that - enter Heartsong where they are back and this time it’s present day! I loved the idea of the museum/ exhibits and the introduction of Anna and Frey to the character mix. Frey’s characteristics are not what you would expect from a large gargoyle but he is definitely your next book boyfriend. Roll on November for Heartsworn - I cannot wait! 🅰🅳 - 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 🅲🅾🅿🆈

Thank you so much @katemilfordnagspeake @novel.tours @clarionbooks @harper360uk @harper360ya for my gorgeous book mail!! Make sure you return to check out my review on the 17th May. This book is being modelled by Mischka from Golden Oldies Cat Rescue And Hospice . Check out the links in the bio to check out my Facebook Page or if you wish to treat them or help the rescue. Synopsis A standalone mystery from a New York Times bestselling, Edgar Award-winning author set in a contemporary world tinged with magic, in which two sisters spend summer vacation in a small town in the shadows of abandoned amusement park that is not what it seems. Ivy and Dahlia Vicar know this summer’s trip to visit friends in Rialto, Missouri, is going to be different from their usual family vacations. Twelve-year-old Dahlia, an artist who lives with anxiety, is looking forward to something new. Rialto, after all, has its own abandoned theme park! But mystery-loving, fourteen-year-old Ivy is struggling with how to be the right kind of big sister to Dahlia, and longs for the way things—especially vacations—were when they were younger. In Rialto, it quickly becomes clear that this vacation will also be different in totally unexpected ways. For one thing, the town stands in the middle of an improbable forest that, according to local legend, swallowed it overnight decades before. Then there are Dahlia’s even more improbable sightings of impossible creatures—a giraffe with antlers and a leopard with wings. And there’s their new friend Remy, whose family inherited the house they’re all staying in from an aunt who left bequests for local friends that Remy must personally distribute. When he enlists Ivy and Dahlia to help deliver these gifts, they find themselves drawn into a mystery going back to the time when Rialto Park was still open. And it begins to seem that, if they are going to help Remy solve it, they will have to find a way to believe in magic. Purchase Link /Rialto-Kate-Milford/dp/1328466914

Star Shipped - Cat Sebastian This is my first Cat Sebastian book - I think it's her first contemporary romance, and I very much hope it isn't the last! I've heard such good things about the author's style of writing and I'm another one who absolutely loved it. 💕 Star Shipped is written from the point of view of one of the main characters, Simon, and I think this allows us to really understand him, his thoughts and feelings, and also his struggles with anxiety, OCD, and migraines. Simon is an actor on a long running sci-fi show, but does not like his co-star Charlie, who is popular, charming, and fun. When Simon decides to leave the show after many years, he's worried that it'll look like he's hard to work with and prevent future opportunities (even though he is actually hard to work with). So to improve his image, he and Charlie agree to spend some time together in public to show everyone they do get on (even though they have had lots of issues working together.) However, after spending time together, Simon realises he may have misjudged Charlie a little. And when they have to go on an out of town road trip, he learns a lot more about Charlie's background and family, and perhaps realises that there's a lot more to him than he or anyone else knew about. I just really, really loved this book, and the style of writing. It was more a slice of life than anything else, just two people growing closer. Simon was such an interesting character - I really liked him. Yes, he was difficult at times, but because we got a deep dive character study into his thoughts and feelings, we knew why he could be like that. Before this book, the only person he trusted was his best friend Jamie, and apart from that he isolated himself from all his colleagues. It was beautiful seeing how he slowly began opening himself up to Charlie, and the way his feelings changed. I think this may be my first book in this particular style and I love it. 💕 Thank you so much to @catswrites @harper360uk and @instabooktours for having me on this book tour! 😀 #bookstagram #bookstagramuk #booksofinstagram #catsebastian #booktour

🌷 No Place Like You by Jillian Meadows 🌷 [ad - pr product] I loved Give Me Butterflies by @jillianmeadowswrites (the review is on my page if you scroll for a bit), so I was very excited to dive into another of her books! This is the perfect spring romance! It’s sweet and set in a cute small town. Fable and Theo are both great characters and I loved seeing not only their individual growth throughout the book, but also how they slowly realized how they can be there for each other. There are some mores serious topics woven throughout the story, but those are handled with care. And overall, the book still put the biggest smile on my face! So definitely pick this one up if you like: 🌷 Childhood friends to rivals to lovers 🌷 Fake dating 🌷 Small town Romance 🌷 Family & found family Thank you so much @instabooktours  and @harper360uk  for my copy and having me on this tour! #RomanceBooks #SmallTownRomance #JillianMeadows #NoPlaceLikeYou #BookReview
