In Angels never die, Vienna-based artist Anouk Lamm Anouk invites us into a world of softness, slowness, and intimate coexistence. Guided by the recurring figure of a white poodle, a symbol of memory, tenderness, and quiet rebellion, we move through a landscape shaped by paintings, shaped canvases, and immersive installations.
Animals are central to Anouk’s universe. They are not decorative or symbolic, but active presences: dogs, horses, lambs, and fawns who stand beside humans as companions in grief, memory, and becoming. In this exhibition, we encounter key works including Herd N°3 (a monumental installation of 25 sky horses), 13 Lambs (presented in Asia for the first time), and a series of deeply personal shaped canvases that explore hybrid forms and radical intimacy.
Angels never die does not ask for quick interpretation. Instead, it opens a poetic space that favors perception over logic, presence over metaphor, and sensation over spectacle. As we follow the white poodle through this gentle terrain, we are invited to pause, to feel, and perhaps to ask ourselves:
With whom do I exist, and how am I present, right now, in this moment?
