It’s a good morning to you, HH here! Just a few bits and bobs to keep you all going - a round-up if you will. First things first, I’m thrilled to say I’ll be opening for the mighty @rthompsonmusic in Aberdeen, Inverness and Edinburgh at the end of May. I’m honoured to be asked, and will be performing solo, so if that’s your bag - tickets are available now, in all the usual places! I’m looking forward to these shows already. Speaking of tickets, Life in a Scotch Sitting-room, Vol. 0 is very much doing its thing, so get ‘em while you can at the link in bio. Two more tidbits while I’m here: the first, as part of the @thisiswildsong film fest, the video for Big Cat Tattoos, expertly directed by our very own @soundslikeandyp , will be screened at the Cameo Cinema, Edinburgh next Thursday 12th March. And would you look at that! We were so inspired after performing it at the @edbookfest last August that we've decided to give Life in a Scotch Sitting-room, Vol. 0 a wee outing! If something has legs, put it on the road we say. The show is a semi-autobiographical deep-dive into my childhood in Edinburgh, featuring stories from my family home. It is also is a sung and spoken word tribute to the rare Scottish gem who was Ivor Cutler, who has influenced my life and lyrics more than almost anyone. It's also a left field theatre show with hats. There's something for everyone - and something for you! Manchester, Bristol, London and Glasgow - we're looking in your general direction.
