Up Close, Then Centre Stage - Music Photography - Technique, Trust and Timing my four year journey photographing Hamish Hawk using Sigma lenses. Next week I’ll be at the Photography Show in Birmingham talking about my journey photographing Hamish Hawk — from tiny pub venues to the hallowed ground of the Barrowlands.
I’ll be sharing how Sigma lenses have been part of that journey, the realities of shooting live music in wildly different spaces, and the moments that shaped the work. Also looking forward to hearing from some fantastic photographers who’ll be speaking too.
If you’re there, come say hello. Images taken with Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM, 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro, 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art and 35mm f/1.2 DG II Art•
