Up close on Tiger Woods’ legendary putter. Possibly the most famous putter in the history of golf, I can’t think of any other sporting memorabilia trusted throughout such a dominant career spanning over 3 decades. Tiger’s used it since 1999 to win 14 out of his 15 major championships. The wear and tear from thousands of rounds and millions of putts is wild. Was an honor to check it out and shoot some detail photos on the @hasselblad at the US Open. Huge thanks @joseph.nikolai for making it happen, and getting a behind the scenes of me trying to keep my hands steady to shoot it. @tigerwoods @scottycameron @titleist @hasselblad

Had to dig up these photos of @artofoto from 1998. Listening to his new @thenineclub interview, where they talk about filming this spot for Menikmati and Sorry, brought back some fun memories shooting with Arto and the Control Skate team in Spring of 98’ around Helsinki. A few months later, 16 year old Arto left school moved to the States and the rest is history. His journey is well told in his new interview. Kippis Arto 🍻

In shock to hear of @kblock43 passing. 💔 So many friends in the action sports community have shared beautiful tribute posts and stories about the impact Ken had. Stories of the “Ken Block Effect” everyone felt, the positive energy and stoke for snowboarding and all action and motor sports he radiated. I was fortunate to meet and work with Ken on some fun projects in the early 2000’s when DC was an hugely influential brand. What always blew me away was how such a famous and successful business man, founder of such an iconic company, could just be so genuinely nice, humble and all around awesome. He just loved doing it all, snowboarding, hitting rails at the mountain lab on a mini dirt bike, driving his rally car to dinner, all of it, he was like a fully grown up insanely successful kid, with a crazy unique laugh which always broke the ice and made everyone stoked. Thank you Ken Block for all the excitement and good times you brought the world. Rest In Peace #43forever

Honored to be featured in the @welooksideways coffee table book titled ‘California’. It’s a collection of words from the interview series Matt did, along with beautiful photos by @owenmadeup from their Cali road trip interviewing action sports personalities. Reading all of the quotes and stories from snow, surf, skate worlds is a great reminder of what lead me move to California back in 2002 from the smokey pubs of London. Thank you @ed__leigh_ for my intro words, Matt for the podcast interview, and Owen for the photos. Great work on the book. I’m so Grateful for all the positive people and influences on my career since I left school to pursue my photography dream. Thank you 🙏

@adamscottofficial and the new Pro V1x on set in Stanwich, Connecticut. Shot during filming for the new @titleist campaign. The FPV drone footage following the new ball through the air is nuts. #alwaysbringyourbest #teamtitleist #sonyalpha

The New 2021 Titleist ProV1 golf ball just released, with a global campaign photo 10 years in the making. Well kind of. In the summer of 2010 @joseph.nikolai and I met up at Titleist Performance Institute to shoot some photos for the Titleist website. We caught an epic California golden sunset, and my old Canon 5D mark 2 was filled with warm tones and beautiful lens flares. I dug up a few of the throwback pictures in the gallery above. So last summer when Joe and Titleist commissioned me to shoot the new campaign image for their flagship product, the all new ProV1, there was only one place to shoot this. Back to TPI at the same spot our creative collab started a decade ago. For the shoot I was sent an early release of the new ball, and an early release of the new TSi Driver. Timing wise I had to shoot in the middle of the day, not ideal, so my assistant @freckleface and I blocked the overhead sun, and rigged up our best attempt at recreating a warm sunset vibe using Profoto flashes and orange gels. I really wanted to showcase all the details of the new dimple pattern, and try 10x those lens flares, so this time I shot on the Hasselblad H6D medium format digital camera with the Hasselblad 120mm Macro lens (without the lens hood). The new ProV1 is hitting golf stores worldwide this week. I'm honored to have shot the global campaign photography for it. Thank you to all the extremely talented people who worked on this project, and helped make the photos happen. Thank you crew! 🙏 @titleist #alwaysbringyourbest #teamtitleist #prov1

Stoked to have a billboard photo up in Encinitas, right opposite my favorite ice cream spot, shot in my kitchen during a California stay home order, for local small business @bubsnaturals This was a fun project for a number of reasons. I stayed home for the majority of 2020, and been working with Bubs a local small business I back, and use their MCT and Collegen Protein Powders daily. I have been friends with Bubs founder @slakeo for over 20 years now, from back when he worked for Burton snowboards, DC snowboarding, etc. Sean’s good friend Glen “Bub” Doherty was heroically killed in the Benghazi Embassy attack in Libya in 2012. Bubs was founded and named in his honor, and the company donates 10% of their profits to charity. Bubs new “Influenced By No One” campaign pokes fun at social media “influencers” which I always enjoy. However, thank you @kristenlouelle for being a great kitchen influencer model, and fun to shoot with, check out her journey she in manifesting to become a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. Thank you @coleferguson for photo assisting, setting up the lights, and also jumping into the frame to cameo in the shot holding our makeshift backdrop prop. I worked for Cole’s Dad @liamfergusonsd for many years at Transworld when he was the Group Publisher, we had some great times in Media back then. If you made it this far, super cheers. 🍻
