In my design you can see how I used slices of sourdough, ciabatta and baguette to make stamps, followed by photographing the rest of my haul I bought that day, collaging it together as a print!
(I swear, I initially wanted the one loaf, then I ended up bringing more home with me)

Before 2025 ends, I wanted to express the gratitude I have for meeting and connecting with every single person I met, where it was wonderful meeting other incredible artists and exhibition-goers. No matter what we talked about, it was truly a wholesome two days where I felt present with everyone.
I couldn't believe I was exhibiting in my home away from home, Hong Kong. My first international exhibition. S/O to @moo_moo_mi@cyrieu_jnee@pixel.looney for the immense vibes and help they all brought to my booth! 😭🤍
HKICS 10 definitely ended on a high, and even though I just started my journey as Halvans Creative this year- I'm so keen to keep flowing through, learning and develop my creativity further! Here's to 2026, and a massive thanks to everyone who supported me and the soy sauce fishes! 🫶🏻🐟✨️

This photobook expresses conflicting views about living, playing, and working in both cities- identifying both Hong Kong and Sydney as my home through anaglyph photography. Viewers use the two 'study check' sheets representing a 'Hong Kong' (red) and 'Sydney' (green) lens, to reveal/hide corresponding photos in chapters.

The response was incredible, with the number of entries and the level of creativity blowing us away. Choosing a winner was no easy task.

THANK YOU @projectmarket_space AND TO EVERYONE who came by and supported me or to have a chat. My heart is still so full from the weekend, and truly couldn't have been more blessed to have mine and @ziyooniipark 's 2nd time tabling been a bliss like this.
Honestly, from having my suitcase break on me otw to the station, giggling over setups, matcha from @sonna.tea and having much needed banter all around, I wouldn't have had my day any other way.
S/out to all the amazing people I met that day, and especially @angela_.moth and @theresaham_ for helping out with the stall! And extra super special s/o to @nomadicmechanic_uk for 3D Printing so many things for my lil stall 🤍.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to sign my lil' Ikea Frame, it was quite emotional editing this reel because of how touching everyone's doodles, messages and quotes all intertwined with each other- I wish I could've given every clip their own moment!! I love how everyone interpreted this prompt in their own way, while sharing similarities, it makes me so proud to be a creative in this community, putting forth positive interactions like these.

Using linoprinting as an interactive way to feel the powdery texture like Pulverulenta, while using recycled papers from Crush and Extract to be conscious of paper waste.

To learn linoprinting again, I decided to make my own Magikarp as a soy sauce fish! 🫧 and boy, do I miss the carving process - I still got much more to learn.
I later then used this to make prints and stickers!
"Chitin Shimmer" - Hallie Evans
Inspired by the shimmering, iridescent shells of Christmas Beetles, this motion design piece visually accompanies a poem of how chitin plays a role producing that mirror-like effect we see in Christmas beetles. Hopefully, you'll see the beauty in them too.
