Missed out on this fabric painting session but still want to try?
Use this DIY fabric painting recipe at home!
1. Mix a 1:1 ratio of acrylic paint to fabric paint. **do not thin paint with water as it will split the paint. use fabric softener to thin paint if needed**
2. Paint onto your clothes, we recommend sketching on your design with a disappearing marker first or using a paper stencil! you can buy disappearing fabric markers at Daiso
3. Let dry and then iron with a sheet of baking paper on between your design and the iron. the heat helps it set in place!
Care instructions:
To preserve your design, wash inside out on a cold delicate cycle.
Optional extra pazazz items for at home clothing DIY:
- Permanent fabric markers (sold at spotlight)
- Needle bottles for fine line drawing (semco needle bottles also found at spotlight, we recommend also getting a syringe to put the fabric paint mixture into the needle bottles
- Jacquard brand fabric paints for a smoother painting experience than diy fabric paint

🖌️ Paint N Sip with Crafter-noons!!!
Our second Paint N Sip for the semester and we’ve got something special cooking for you all!
It will be this coming Thursday the 30/04 6pm-9pm, and joining us will be Crafter-noons for a ‘Bob Ross themed’ event. Like always, drinks (non-alcoholic) will be provided, same with a canvas, paints, and snacks, so just bring yourself and some friends (or make some there!) for a chill night!
While it is a later event, be sure to stay, we may have something extra for those that do!

Thank you all for attending Makers Market for Autumn 2026! It was quite the packed market today all the way through!
The team is exhausted now and thus we'll leave you all with this last message about Autumn Maker's Market but first:
A huge shoutout to all our volunteers and event leads for helping out with the set-up and packup of the venue's tables and chairs and serving as additional staff on the day, you folks are absolute legends! ✨
Additionally, kudos to all the graphic designer execs who stepped up the game for this semester's Makers Market. Your graphics looked so awesome on all the socials, screens, posters and directories!
And finally, vendors, thank you all for tabling at this event and shaping this market into what it is! 💖
