This time they’re joined by friends and fellow party throwers @lift_your_feet , all the way from York and Leeds. 🚂 Playing on the six stack sound system will be: Prawn Posture, Jonny Craven, Joe Hell, Harry Rook and Alilou. In June last year @jcraven_blblbl asked if I would join him in setting up some speakers for a party in his hometown he’d been asked to DJ at. Little did I know that a year later we’d have done three more parties in York and become Lift Your Feet honorary members 😇. I’m not sure how we got away with the Frankenhorn 🧟‍♂️ at that first party but everyone seemed appreciative, so we kept coming back. Thanks to Jonny’s hard work, the speakers (and vans) have got bigger over the last 14 months and have recently multiplied from two stacks to four thanks to @thejoshbeauchamp and Garden of Life. I’m really looking forward to Alice, Harry, Joe, Jonny and Tash from LYF making their way to Bristol at the end of this month for our joint Precious Energy x Lift Your Feet party 💫 If you’d like to join us for a dance and hear the latest iteration of the speakers for yourself, you can do at Trinity Centre on 27th September. Thank you so much to everyone who attended our York party celebrating our 2nd birthday on Saturday 🥰 It was lovely to see a mixture of new faces and familiar faces; it’s been a wonderful journey to get to year 2, and every one of you - past and present attendee - have played their part in making this incredibly rewarding so far. A special mention to our guest DJs @cocopopkid and @aliloumaynard for spinning their tunes during the evening - two selectors we massively respect, thank you! Thank you to Jonny and Rob @jcraven_blblbl @hornsofrob for providing once more with their luscious sound-system - we are forever grateful x Putting these York parties on takes a big amount of effort, and we will be taking a break over the summer period to make some improvements and recharge those batteries 🔋🪫 For now, we hope to see many of you for our Leeds celebration on Thursday 19th June at @holdingpatterns_leeds ; an extra special late party (until 2am!) with special guest @donsurf_ - this will be our last party for a while, so do come through.
