I’ve been a little quiet on the gig front what with moving city & life doing the thing, but tomorrow is a new month which brings with it some outings…
I am so so so delighted to say that I will be spinning some records at the gorgeous Precious Energy party at the iconic @bristoltrinity 🪩
Celebrating their second birthday, I’ve been an avid follower of the party for a little while. Here’s why:

Saturday (10th January) marks a decade since David Bowie died.
Friday (9th January) I will be celebrating my all time hero, David Bowie, on the radio at 11am.
For this year’s edition, I will be sharing songs that Bowie produced/features on as a cunning hack to get away with Mixcloud’s weird rule about having too many songs by a single artist in a mix.
I will share previous editions of my Bowie special on Soundcloud in due course - the first (from 2021) is a collection of my favourites and some snippets of interviews and suchlike featuring Bowie’s wisdom. The second (from 2022, mislabeled as 2021) I dubbed ‘The Outside Years’ - its a deep dive into his less popular/drum and bass/more questionable (and not in a kooky/arty/good way) 90s-00s albums.
