PLEASUREDOME X TRANSFORM FESTIVAL – DOOMSDAY DISCO As the remnants of civilisation burn and the vultures begin to circle, we hunker down in the industrial sanctuary of Testbed for a night of queer hedonism and artistic experimentation. We have teamed up with cultural powerhouse @transform_leeds to deliver a night like no other. On Saturday 25th October, expect a lineup of our incredible, local DJs intermingled with gender-defying, live performances brought to you by the superb team of forward-thinkers at Transform. - Our top team of aural scientists comprises of leading jazz-fusion researcher @joehelldj of the @lift_your_feet division; sound system afficionado and beat synthesist BOSSdaddy @cocopopkid from the @c0smicsl0p laboratories; and sonic healer, Day Dot @orlaw0lf , of the underground queer resistance fighters @lickquidgold_ , armed with her deadliest, dancefloor weaponry to close off the night. All the while our most dazzling performers will slither, dangle, and unfurl around the dancefloor in a bid to awaken your senses and to change your expectations of what a club night can be. The end is nigh; let’s dance! - As always, profits made from our parties go towards our fundraiser for a new, permanent, event space for the queer community in Leeds. We are currently collating evidence to apply for funding and grants over the course of the next six to eight months. While fundraising so far has been steady, we have demonstrated that we can run ambitious, quality club nights with affordable bar prices and pay our staff significantly higher than living wage rates. Your donations of money and time towards the project have played a huge part in our success so far, so big up to everyone who has helped out. Your support is treasured, as always. 👀 September party! 👀 After the summer break from club nights, we are absolutely blessed to have been invited over to join our good friends, Precious Energy, for a beautiful dance at their home in Bristol on Saturday 27th September. Rob and the gang have been putting on a super special Hifi gathering together with amazing decor and delicious food at the incredible Grade II listed Trinity Centre 🫶 Precious Energy have shared their Sound System at The Light Studio many times, and now we are getting a chance to play at this unique party! Recorded at the Alto Dream Team party, this is a B2B set with my soul sister, @natasha_cowie aka PrawnPosture Tash has some absolute heaters hidden away in those USB sticks and I have loved playing and working alongside her over the past year with Lift Your Feet events and other side gigs. Impeccable selections always, and our shared love of Jersey Club and Garage has had us doing many a wheel up of each others drops. Tash has left Leeds now onto greener pastures - I’m sure many others will feel the same void in her absence - much love to a real one, wicked DJ and awesome friend 🧡

🎈2ND BIRTHDAY 🎈 Can you believe we are 2 years old!? It’s been a super fabulous year, putting on parties with selectors we never thought we’d be booking so early in our journey 😮 We are super happy with the community that comes through to our events - thank you to every one that has placed their trust in us and bought a ticket to our parties! - it’s gonna be amazing to continue building into our 3rd year ❤️ To celebrate, we thought we’d do a special throwdown in York where it all began, at our spiritual home with some of our favourite selectors around: 🎵🎵🎵 BOSSdaddy (@cocopopkid / @c0smicsl0p ) BOSSdaddy is a Leeds based DJ / producer, who helps run the now legendary charity fundraiser party, Cosmic Slop, in aid of MAP Charity. When seeing him DJ, you can expect to hear weirdo disco grooves, Cosmic Slop Records unreleased music, obscure and forgotten sounds from all over the world with energy from behind the decks that you can’t help but move to! MAP Charity are an invaluable Leeds based institution doing incredible work, providing access to the creative industries for young people who are unable to access the mainstream education system. Alilou (@aliloumaynard ) Alilou is a name we should be all familiar with by now, as she has played at our parties a fair few times! A testament to her style, bringing an undeniable soulful groove and vibrant flavours from across the world’s musical spectrum. Harry Rook (@rook_harry ) Founder and trusty resident, Harry is back after a 3 month long trip to Asia - nothing has changed, expect his usual golden selections!
