Alexander, known professionally as Hairbyxandar, is a Lagos-based hairstylist, hair curator, and editorial artist. Working primarily out of Cold Studios and similar creative spaces across Lagos, he has established himself as one of the Nigerian fashion and beauty industry’s most formally adventurous practitioners — combining technical precision in traditional styling with a commitment to avant-garde, fashion-experimental hair design that treats the head as both canvas and structure. His commercial portfolio includes the 2026 Adidas Originals campaign shot in Lagos, with creative direction by Kayode Olowu and photography by Daniel Diamond Bako. He specialises in bridal hair management, wig installation, and high-profile beauty transformations for a clientele that includes celebrities and high-fashion models. As a hair curator, he consults on the visual direction of hair for creative projects and advertisements, and has extended his practice into product development with his Nutrient-Dense Hair Strengthener and Booster. He is available for editorial, commercial, and personal styling bookings through his social media channels.
