THANK YOU FOR GUSHING <333 our second year of GUSH has come to a close and we could not be more grateful for everyone who came out ln and for all the community support <3 from set up and sound check to the bjork finale this was truly a community effort, which is what this techno shit should be all about ! SPECIAL THANKS TO @molkromatic for holding down the sound booth and playing music for us that first hour after doors @ps3tta for setting the tone with both the opening set as well as lighting and decor @daidemai for fog juice and TRULY understanding the GUSH assignment @postgraduate.work for helping me understand my xdj better lol and annihilating the speakers with an iconic setlist full of bangers @emberinhand @shotcoughski rose and @turnstyletrashton for working door @snowislikeawidesea my co-organizer for bartending and just being an absolute angel and ofc @laughablerecordings @tv_repairman2 @theapohadion for venue support and letting us do our thing ! while GUSH may be over for now, the party is farrr from over ! there's now multiple parties happening every weekend, which just two years would have seemed insane. when @screamingstars___ summoned gelsey and i to do GUSH last year it felt like a mission to bring techno to a place where, tbh, i didn't have high hopes in terms of this kind of music being loved and accepted ! but portland has now exceeded all expectations and im SO happy and proud to see this specific crowd, and the overall scene grow like LFGGG <3 on that note make sure to catch me @voidmusic__ on october 18th at @space538 for the october @moonshake_crew party accompanied by nyc's own @jahveri_ <3 gonna be a spaceyyy techno time 🛸 SEE U SOON <3

ONE WEEK TILL GUSH 💦💦💦 9/27 at @theapohadion we're going out with a banggg this year w @postgraduate.work @daidemai @ps3tta and @voidmusic__ 💦💦💦 expect hard house, techno, cunty remixes + sexy groove 💦💦💦 DJ Interior Semiotics aka Mature @postgraduate.work is a dj based out of Portland “Ibiza” Maine. Their edits and remixes on SoundCloud have received acclaim from artists/djs such as Kreayshawn and Madjestic Kasual - and Joshua Minsoo Kim. They host Moral Crema Radio the first Sunday of every month on particle fm, make $18.50 an hour at a weed farm, and they are putting together a party called Heaven soon. Dai de Mai @daidemai is a raucous DJ, producer, and cellist from Portland. He’s known for mixing meticulous, vibrant, and movement-inducing sets with his unique set up that allows him to traverse genres and rhythms at will, layering tracks heavily and pushing the energy to the limit. Dai de Mai can be heard playing anything from techno to hard house, footwork, UKG, experimental EDM, and who the hell knows what next. Off the decks he’s a nature addict going sailing, wild ice skating, mushroom hunting, and building 50’s era custom audio gear. Psetta @ps3tta is the experimental pop project of Maine-based interdisciplinary artist and designer Sam Burnell. Longtime electronic fan, he has helmed independent radio show slots for a cumulative 7 years while developing his own production and songwriting. His sets focus on dynamic energy and irreverence to genre, highlighting deep house, hyperpop, and IDM, as soon as post-punk, disco, and noise. Our GUSH resident VOID @voidmusic__ is a Metro-Detroit born and raised, rural Maine based multi-genre musician, producer, and performer, as well as a DJ with a penchant for hypnotic and psychedelic techno, always trying to find that sweet spot between the heavy and ethereal. ⭐️MEET THE ORGANIZERS⭐️ void @voidmusic__ (they/them), our talent booker and resident dj, is a queer musician, performer, producer, astrologer, scholar, and mystic from the metro-detroit area, now stationed in the foothills of western maine. while they've only been djing for 2 years, they've been a life-long shape-shifting musician and performer, expressing through a wide range of modalities from musical theatre to sound healing. they're currently focused on djing, as well as their current solo production/performance project called SPRIGGAN, whose debut album "FAITH" just recently dropped. void's work whether scholarly or musical touches on themes of existentialism, identity, transformation, collective liberation, healing, faith, and spirituality. they're incredibly proud to be part of a femme-fronted party, and feel like being a part of GUSH is absolutely a dream. <3 gelsey amelia @snowislikeawidesea (she/they), our venue admin and resident artist, is a queer multidisciplinary artist whose work uses performance, illustration, plants, ritual and installation to explore themes of transmutation, gay eroticism, nature, ancestry, mythology, and utopian/dystopian visions. her work often includes celebration and sharing meals in spaces she intentionally creates to foster healing and solace. she was a founding organizer of the @new.fruit art collective in portland, maine, and is blissed to be an organizer for GUSH. <3 joining void and gelsey in organizing this saturday's GUSH is bri @sealseab_ of @xkvntiex and sev @tortemillini founder of collaborating party @itsharbinger 💌 bri (she/her) is a party connoisseur and caterer of fun. 💅🏻 just beginning her dj journey recently, she has already made a mark on the scene blending both the techno and EDM spirits. her heart is in the underground and strives to keep the free rave culture alive. sev (they/them) fell into the underground scene working at former w mass queer venue 10 Forward, now producing shows across greater new england. what started as a one-off goth night became Harbinger, a wandering goth party and punk show. whether genre bending live music or djs, Harbinger has you moving until the lights come on. ;)

Her selection is for biters and grinders of all kinds. "It's cunty" - Void Foxy is Portland’s chameleon DJ. She can be heard spinning a variety of styles throughout the city, but her forte is dark dance music. She is a resident of Maine’s longest running goth night (Plague) and has been a guest DJ at goth nights all over New England.
