Recently kicked off my 24th sketchbook of #abstractdoodles filled with over 2,500 pages of shapes, lines and colors that have helped me hone and explore my creativity while providing me with an outlet to also express my feelings. The (almost daily) act has been cathartic to say the least. While I still love where my digital abstract is headed with @abstractrpm - it’s the fun of hardcopy/analog where I really find my flow state. Thanks for being part of the journey.
As I start my 22nd #doodle sketchbook with over 2,300 drawings, it’s amazing for me to look back and see where @abstractRPM all started - a doodle-a-day challenge with @ssorokin 8 years ago this week.
AbstractRPM was a simple idea of taking cars, motorcycles and motorsports brands and breaking them into #abstract sketch lines and basic shapes.
With a lot of work and a lot of luck (a huge thank you @verticalgallery and @pow_patrick for including me in your show so long ago!), I’ve managed to turn this creative outlet into a small business venture. I’m grateful for @phen2210 for his help with transitioning my sketches into digital so long ago. And to the many Clients who’ve entrusted me with their brands and logos. And to the many Customers who’ve purchased custom #highHorespowerCotton for themselves or friends and family. Thank you all for being part of this journey!

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared some of the #abstractart I’ve been working on to (to my feed). Not gonna lie - 2024 has not been without its challenges for me (creatively speaking). Coming off a red hot 2023, I’ve had to re-set my expectations, take a pause, and re-start my creative engine.
