Started seeing this comic-style paint all over my feed and thought… I think I can do that.
Tried it on the helmet first.
Then looked at the already beat-up bodywork and figured… why not go all in.
Not perfect, but that’s kind of the point. Learned a lot, had some fun, and now I’ve got a bike that looks like it rolled out of my high school sketchbook. Thanks to @cvr_lorax at @caliphotovideo for the shots

Many of you may have heard me say (as a road racer): “If I am in the dirt, I’ve made a mistake. If I’m above the dirt, I’ve made a huge mistake.” Well I went above the dirt - on purpose - for the first time yesterday. Thanks to @socalsupermoto , @syl.rides , @krinopan , @juker_157 for all them help & and encouragement. @gschechner for making me do this after 10+ years of talking about it. Really great day on Friday working the @yamahamotorusa #blucru #rworld event with @trackdaz . Got to hang with the one the first people I made trough this sport, and now one of my best friends, @al_garcia_ltd , and some of my newest friends as well. Track days and racing continue to bring amazing humans into my life and I am grateful for it. Thank you all for sharing the joy.
