In case you don’t have three mins spare to hear me waffle, here’s the dot points: 1. I’m taking May-July off gigs. This Saturday at @farmersarmshotelstarnaud will be my last until August. 2. I’m starting Uni in June, to learn how to make video games. 3. From today, Patreon patrons will have access to my brain. And by that I mean everything I’ve recorded (that I can find, I know some is hiding on a CD somewhere). There’s 50+ songs no one’s heard, in the demos section alone. How time flies. Everyone who has been to a gig at Bendigo’s Old Church on the Hill will understand completely when I say it’s my favourite Bendigo venue to play. Gigs there are pretty special. It’s one of the only rooms it’s appropriate to shush someone in 😅 and to be honest, it’s because people come there predominantly for the music. So if you like gigs but you don’t wanna have to hear anyone’s life story but the artist you’ve paid to see, this is your space. Make sure you grab a ticket for @livcartledge and this moi there tomorrow night, Friday 10th April (tix in bio on Insta). So turns out I was gigging with a fractured finger for the past month, and now I get to wear a little phantom of the opera mask on my hand for a wee while. I’ve got plenty of gigs in the calendar for April, but will be waiting on medical advice to see if I need to shift any around to give the ole hand time to recover properly. In other news, I’m thinking of recording an audiobook reading of one of my favourite fantasy novels - is that something people would listen to? 😅

Sorry Castlemaine, but @shedshakerbrewing and I have decided to cancel Wednesdays gig out of concern not enough folks will show up with such short notice - it’s my fault as I asked for the date a while ago and then didn’t check to see if it was locked in, so hurried to cobble something together last minute when it looked like it was going ahead.
