Constructed around a bleak and grating improv dual-guitar drone recorded while the duo was still constructing The Unnamable, the duo fleshed out a conceptual movement which explores the curiously dark corners of the human psyche within the family construct. With Brenner performing vocals, guitar, bass, synths/keys, and effects, The Outcome was conceived and with lyrics by Oliver, who provides vocals, guitar, synth, effects, and the final mix, mastered by Anti-Corp Music/Black Matter Mastering’s Dan Emery (Kool Keith, Thetan, Krieg), and completed with visual/graphic design work by Brenner. #diminishing #postindustrial #darkambient #dronemetal #demoralization

TEN YEARS of Ensuring The Bloodline Ends Here. GRIDFAILURE formed in February of 2016, and the debut album, Ensuring The Bloodline Ends Here, was released on May 13th of that year. Pulled from all non-Bandcamp digital sources for several years, the album is now back on all streaming platforms. This was a complete experiment. My first solo project. The first album I had fully conceived, performed, recorded, mixed, and produced. The first videos I ever filmed and edited. I released it on CD and digitally on my own label. It was the beginning of something I could not at that time fathom. Within a decade, GRIDFAILURE has released nearly four-dozen titles, with a half-dozen nearing completion, and well-over a dozen more in some form of creation. Thanks to you all. Brother Steve's new album Marked Cards And Loaded Dice is not only a massive achievement to have conceived and completed, but it's a fucking banger.
