Weeks posts
This weeks project is ready for collection! It’s undergone a bunch of work to get the car sitting good but still being useable! Check the previous posts from this week. I think the pictures speak for themselves! The car looks incredible and the presence in person is even better. This is Matts dream car, managed to grab it at the age of 19! It’s refreshing to see a young lad build a nice car and not cover it in tacky stickers and tinted 3D gel plates! Nice work matt thanks for bringing it over !! I’ve made an in-depth video of the car for my personal YouTube. Link is on my profile if you want to check it out!

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together. Drove the little toyota out of the workshop for the first time this evening! i think we can all agree it looks fantastic, After everything it’s thrown at me this last week or so it was a nice sign of relief when the car layed out on the floor for the first time, You spend hours upon hours doing all the extra work for those extra few inches, but it’s all worth it in the end! Give this thing a clean tomorrow and take it on a test drive! @air_lift_performance @floairride @7.nth 🤝

Well here it is 95% finished… The amount of time and effort i’ve put into this truck the last couple of months has been a labour of love, this week alone i’ve gone above and beyond to try make @players_shows At the beginning of the week i wasn’t sure if it was even going to be possible, the effort into building something like this isn’t to be slept on, this was tough! Gets to 4pm today and i’m a couple of bits of wood away from completions. Take a test drive, rack up about 10 miles for it to cut out and leave me stranded, after 3 hours trying to fix it, had to thrown in the towel, The electronic ignition in the distributor has failed, no spark no bueno 😕 i’m absolutely gutted first time i’ve ever failed to meet a deadline! no fault of my own just one of them things, it sucks! however it does look fantastic, sills on the floor, Stock (ish) cab floor.. just how it should be 😎 happy with the outcome none the less! shout out to all those giving a helping hand during the process, Working alone made this one pretty much impossible! Sorry nathan i tried!! 😕

E28 In for some pre Worthersee prep! BC racing coilovers with conversion bags supplied and fitted! Getting the rear end of the car down was necessary, The new suspension has not only provided a further 2 Inches of drop, But it has also allowed for a much better dialed in lower drive height. With added comfort. In the process the rear arches have been trimmed a little further to allow for the rim to tuck while driving, and without rubbing! If you’re interested in any of these types of products an installation, Dont hesitate to get in touch!

@crux.wheels car should be on test drive this week after a tonne of work, All in the aim to making the car safer to drive low. After its debut at @retroridesofficial It was clear the surrounding roads around goodwood had a disagreement with the automatic gearbox, Something i know all too well.. That fast forwarded the plans we had already had and it’s now had the following Raised chassis rails Raised front subframe Raised floor pan for Fujitsubo manifold Engine and gearbox lift Full manual conversion, Including a parts bin of Toyota/lexus parts to get it to work, Propshaft and shifter extension, relocated handbrake etc! Raised rear subframe with new bracing made 50mm RCA’s Amongst other little bits and bobs along the way This should look good and drive better now! #gx81 #cresta

Had the pleasure of bagging @chrisrakestraw Jzx81, Looks very good, and drives even better. I converted the @bcracing_uk Coilovers To an air bag configuration, This paired with @air_lift_performance ‘s ALP4 Is my favourite package for bagging a car! Drives really good, Decent drive heights and you can really dial it in. The new ALP4 Is a nice touch too, Loads of customisation, Feels nice in the hand and looks alot nicer in person than the advertisement photos! Boot build was seriously tight, Keeping the full size boot and a spare wheel was essential, So it’s tightly packaged under the factory audio and behind the seat! Custom length lines from @helperformance too! I can supply and fit all of the above, Always give me a shout 👍

Done a terrible job of updating this page this year! Posted about 5 times! That’s simply because i am busy! Which is a good problem to have! Lots of cool cars come through the workshop, Lots of restorations going on, Have had to turn away alot of people this year for work though, All these old cars are literally falling to bits and i’m just the one guy here! Maybe one day i’ll have a reliable guy who can come and help me cope with the demand!

Nissan Cube rear beam mod! After the work on the Cube a couple of months back there was always the need to get the rear end dropped a lot more, But the bags where completely bottomed out and the beam was also touching the body! After some measuring, 3d printing, cutting and welding, This should get the car to tuck the rear (as much as the stock tub will allow) like the front. This also brings the rear track width in at the same time 👍 I have also been away from the workshop due to being on holiday, followed by a serious length of time being ill, So if you wondered where i’d been, there’s your answer!

The cars had a tonne of work since i updated instagram, Inner and outer wings, front panel repairs, Now the tubs and towers are just about ready to be welded in next week, i think they’ve come out great, Real tricky to get them right but im happy #fiat126
