This was my first RR event and my goodness, what a cool one! Such an eclectic mix of cars & quite possibly the loveliest crowd of people I’ve ever met! So fab seeing the circuit in such a different layout too, I had a blast!

The Circuit Safari absolutely delivered - even if the queues were wild all day. Huge thanks to everyone who got involved, donated their gold coins, and made the atmosphere what it was.
Next, we switch things up with a change of scenery, a completely different challenge, and the unbeatable atmosphere of Prescott Hill for Retro Rides Gathering on 16th August 💨

The first of two posts of the incredible @retroridesofficial@retroridesevents weekend at @goodwoodmotorcircuit !
One of the most eclectic and fun events of the year - perfect vibes. If you’ve not been - put it in the diary for next year, whether it’s for the Saturday, Sunday or both - located at @goodwoodmotorcircuit .
I was a very busy bee that weekend 🤭 but I managed to make it on the Sunday (huge thank you to David). Despite what felt like biblical weather compared to the day before, I loved every second.
Sure, wearing extra long flares wasn’t my smartest idea. By the end of the day, the material had soaked up the mud and puddle water all the way up to my knees. Threw me straight back to my days as a grunge. The holes in my shoes also became very apparent, as I squelched my way back to the car accompanied with comical sounds and my trusty ladybug umbrella (but also with a very full heart).
Next post will be a “dashboards and doggos” tribute!

A quick message from David following Retro Rides Weekender 2026 ❤️
This year was a huge one for us - for the first time ever, we hit full Goodwood capacity with 1600 cars on site. Seeing that many people come together to celebrate all corners of car culture was genuinely incredible.
With that came a few challenges too, particularly around the new entry and parking system. We know there were frustrations at times, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience while we worked through things across the weekend. Events of this scale are always evolving, and we’ll take everything onboard to make the experience even better moving forward.
And then there was Sunday’s weather… 🌧️
The rain tested us at times, but seeing so many of you stick it out, keep spirits high, and make the most of the day anyway honestly meant a huge amount. That attitude is exactly what makes this community what it is.
Most importantly though - thank you.

Two days packed with incredible cars, good people, and the kind of atmosphere that only Weekender can create. Everywhere you looked, there was something different turning heads
Every style. Every story. Every corner of car culture together in one place - no egos, no judgement, just people enjoying cool cars in all forms.
And to everyone who stuck it out with us through today’s rain - thank you. The weather definitely tested us, but seeing so many of you still filling the paddocks, chatting cars, and making the most of the day meant a huge amount ❤️
Whether you came along, displayed a car, camped out, traded, supported, or simply wandered around taking it all in - thank you. You’re what makes this event what it is.

What a start to the weekend 🙌 From packed display areas to constant action out on track, today was everything Retro Rides Weekender is about. The variety of cars on site has been absolutely unreal.
And we’re not done yet… Sunday is shaping up to be another huge day at Goodwood 🤝 Expect even more arrivals, more display cars, Auto Solo track action, Retro Parking down the main track straight, and another full day of celebrating retro car culture with thousands of like-minded enthusiasts.
