All of the action will be live on HBO Max or TNT Sports (UK) but also on Quest (UK) for the British Super Bikes - It promises to be a two wheeled fan favourite this weekend. The HEL Performance Race Lab is up at Donington Park ready to support all those teams and riders who choose HEL as well as being on the Yamaha and BMW in World Super Bikes and the Aprilia's in Moto GP. Its our new desktop wind tunnel - Perfect for us to play with cooling fins and aerodynamics on our 'new' calipers. In fact - as with all new gadgets - we will be putting anything it that will fit 😂😂😂 It features a test area 408 x 202 x 142mm, allowing users to simulate realistic airflow and aerodynamic effects. It features a precision fan system that generates airflow, and the wind speed can be adjusted using a physical knob on the device. We do like a cool machine - We have a pressure test rig, whip test machine, tensile tester, salt spray booth, optical micrometers, trimos 2d height gauges, laser scanners - all things that are very useful in our day to day operation but this one is new... HEL Performance | The Original We know we know - brake hoses have been around since they were developed alongside early hydraulic braking patents, notably around 1904-1910. While Frederick George Heath patented flexible rubber hydraulic pipes for cycles/motors in 1904, practical four-wheel hydraulic braking systems utilizing hose connections were exhibited by Ernest Walter Weight by 1909-1910. Enough of the history lesson - we are thinking more up to date than that and when you think about the first company to only offer swaged stainless steel fittings (and no mild steel and certainly no aluminium) you have to look at HEL Performance. Since then everyone else got onboard. All those other companies that were selling reusable fittings, all those that sold mild steel fittings and all those that sold aluminium have all come over to the dark side. But in Le Mans, Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) silenced every doubt. For the first time since the 2024 Indonesian Grand Prix, the #89 returned to victory lane on Sunday with a stunning ride, hunting down and overtaking teammate Marco Bezzecchi in the closing laps. It was a landmark day for Aprilia, securing a dominant one-two finish with the championship’s top two riders, while Ai Ogura (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) added to the celebrations by delivering another sensational late-race charge to claim his first ever MotoGP podium.
