Hundreds of people turned out for the Nakba 78 march today in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Filled at least a city block as the march went around the neighborhood.
Very large police presence. Protest organizers paused the march a few times to negotiate with cops to continue marching down the street. Tense at times, but I didn't see any arrests or real trouble.

Allan Dabrio Marrero, to Morello's right, is a New Yorker who was detained by ICE and moved between five facilities over five months & talked about "bathrooms in the open, no pillows, slop for food."
Morello sang Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land," with special emphasis on the fourth verse:
