Dear, Instagram, Much has transpired since we last interacted… A parent died. A dear friend succumbed to her own rigid belief system. My household got Covid for the first time in January. New clients came along to educate & inspire me. Fresh friendships blossomed with folks half my age and old acquaintances became new friends. Unbelievably helpful helpers helped. New creative projects & collaborations sparked joy for my spouse 💚. A three-decade milestone-in-the-making is about to be celebrated. Strong women who I love embarked upon new jobs &/or careers in their 60s. You go, Girl(s) 💃🏻 Ongoing clients, who I respect & cherish, continue to support GG as we support them. Dear friend’s lost parents too. RIP to your loved ones 💔🖤💔 My Raynaud’s Syndrome seems to be getting worse 🧤✂️🧤 (that’s code for fingerless gloves rock, which is why they’re seen in every one of my Zoom sessions). It’s Memorial Day Weekend, here in the United States. So I share this photo of my dear old dad who left this mortal coil last November. Although he’s not wearing a uniform in this shot, he was a World War II veteran. Luckily for me—and anyone else who knew & loved him—he never saw any combat 🪖. I love this shot of his passport from the 1970s. I remember him traveling to far-off lands like Caracas & Bogota, Kraków & Moscow, Manila, Taipei, and Soul. Heck, maybe he worked for a covert government agency (!?!).
