You catch a breather, a moment of respite, before stomping breakbeats and gnarly riffs kick in and the mix takes off once more. This is how most will remember Sprocket’s Kickflip Manual: a track conceived by Phil Smart and Sameer Sengupta (aka Pocket), with the help of pro skater Chad Ford, in early-2000s Sydney.

The end of an era - and the start of another begins today. Just completed one of the most challenging years I’ve had in a while., yet massively rewarding, and in ways I’m yet to discover. Thrilled to have had the opportunity and the privilege to undertake post grad studies in my 50s. Thank you, @UCL , I will never forget you.
and now for a short break before returning home to my beloved ... @libbyrocket
Had the pleasure of visiting this room at the @uniofgreenwich care of the brilliant @ian_sta.gram , to collaborate with the wonderful @blancsceol on something special 💫
It’s a great 4OA Ambisonic room with height and floor Speakers, using nothing but @genelec_usa 'Ones' 👌
I recently created all the immersive sound design for this year’s Clown in the Cornfield brand activation at San Diego Comic-Con.
There were lots of clowns and wonky carnival music, designed for maximum creep.
Massive shout out the fabulous team behind the project at @weare3cs Productions Team for their brilliant work and having me on board!
I just woke up to the news that I’ve been included in Rolling Stone Australia’s Top 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts list, alongside so many great friends and fellow artists. Grateful to have been part of such a pivotal time in Australian electronic music where we had no playbooks or blueprints, no algorithms—taking tracks from our bedrooms to dusty fields and sweaty clubs everywhere. Huge thanks to everyone who ever danced, played, or supported the music 🙏❤️⚡️
Very honoured to have had the opportunity to give a guest lecture in 'Designing Immersive Sound Experiences' to the BA Live Audio Experiential degree students at Buckinghamshire New University, sharing insights from 15+ years of creating immersive experiences. It was my first time visiting this school and its fantastic studio facilities under the tutelage of Professor @gormleygerard , who is an exceptional sound artist himself.
Had the pleasure of watching two excellent performances by @gksh_lab and my wonderful professor who is the programme lead for my degree, Dr. Angela McArthur, using the speaker they helped developed, the 20 sided IKO Speaker. This Ambisonic speaker uses the room's reflections as part of its sonic signature allowing the artist to effectively incorporate the characteristics off a physical space into a performance.
@ari_shark IS A GENIUS. This lovely man has brought my battle-scarred Juno-106 back to life and it's sounding better than new - Omg I'm so thrilled!!! Also at the lab are my Juno-6, SH-101 and beloved TR- 808.
If you need anything serviced or fixed, trust me, send it to Ari he is the best.
Thank you, thank you thank you Ari. I couldn’t be more grateful!!
Back in the lab with this puppy, a 20 sided box with 20 drivers, the IKO Speaker was developed in part by my awesome professor Dr. Angela McArthur. We now have one of these on campus and I cannot wait to start creating content for this thing.
