Grander Gestures & Tsodor - Old Growth Outro • taken from the mini album “Old Growth” TC02: Nostalgic Wavs 02; Yearning; WLC011 Out now on Woodland Creatures As an effervescent denouement, Woodland Creature Tsodor (of last year’s stunning “Diffused Nocturne” LP) spins a web of silken sonic thread: weaving together grains of sound lifted carefully from the songs to guide the listener homeward with a conclusion that breathes and sways just long enough to become completely engrossing - only to end suddenly…leaving one yearning to restart, sit in silence and process, or simply to rest: delivered from this profound musical and emotional journey.  _____ Produced and mixed by @tsodormusic Mastered by @jacobkorn.de @ Tailout Contains elements of material produced by @grandergestures Video by ◢ @sidehatch.___ Distributed digitally by @epmmusic Executive produced by @skwirl_shido visual sources: ● @justinkaminuma • @siobhan_cox • maria__graterol • @theconeyislandmermaid • @fatih_photo.raw • @lucmehl • @matt_swack • @schoolofmedics • @astrofotografiamg • @onno_quist • mulberry1208 • @patternseeing • @geometry.in.nature • @astronomy.views • @pessimysm ●

Grander Gestures - Loving Holding • taken from the mini album “Old Growth” TC02: Nostalgic Wavs 02; Yearning; WLC011 Out now on Woodland Creatures • Each of Coleman’s five expansive pieces in Old Growth are achingly tender and painfully raw echoes of one processing loss and the growth that inevitably emerges in its wake. The writing process spanned some of the most incredible moments of love found, love lost, hope manifested and hope dashed, discovery, inspiration, and soul crippling loss; and, these songs ring out in some instances as confident declarations of love and acceptance, and others as gasps for air and cries for solace and reconciliation.  Farthest away from being a collection for the dancefloor this is narrative music for quiet moments, stillness, and emotional resonance.  • drums by @walrusmuse _____ visual sources: ● @pessimysm • @ormous • @mnflpspsb • @this_is_my_world_777 • @audiovisualmaterial • @guzmanramoss • @bb.dere • @mnaumanndesign • peaceforyourmind51024 • mulberry1208 • @ben.savage • @theos.wav • @agnod3 • @gagef01 • @shotbysaeed • @n_seto623 • @openpinealgland • @viewbeyondpixels • @mitchellpettigrew • @floweraipeople • @thomas_vanz • @postwook • @lake_heckaman • @fovlife • @digitalartsensei • @reachtheunseen • @cozyvu • @justinkaminuma • @jm_gromis • @itsmeekubra ●

Grander Gestures - “Old Growth” mini album TC02: Nostalgic Wavs 02; Yearning; WLC011 1. Sweet Nothings 2. Rosannadanna 3. There Was A Moment There 4. Loving Holding 5. Tree Rings 6. Old Growth Outro (with Tsodor) Out now on Woodland Creatures Each of Coleman’s five expansive pieces here are achingly tender and painfully raw echoes of one processing loss and the growth that inevitably emerges in its wake. Each evocation is beautifully underpinned by a staggering musicality and density that will be of little surprise to those lucky enough to experience Blessed In The Grand Scheme in all its lithe, earthily spiritual expressions of neo-classical composition. Farthest away from being a collection for the dancefloor this is narrative music for quiet moments, stillness, and emotional resonance.  As an effervescent denouement, Woodland Creature Tsodor (of last year’s stunning “Diffused Nocturne” LP) spins a web of silken sonic thread: weaving together grains of sound lifted carefully from the songs to guide the listener homeward with a conclusion that breathes and sways just long enough to become completely engrossing - only to end suddenly…leaving one yearning to restart, sit in silence and process, or simply to rest: delivered from this profound musical and emotional journey. _____ All tracks written, produced, and performed by @grandergestures except “Old Growth Outro” which was produced by @tsodormusic • Sweet Nothings: Ian Jay on Drums, Dennison Blackett on sax Rosannadanna: @gnrlmtr on Drums Loving Holding: @walrusmuse on Drums Tree Rings: Gareth Middlebrook on Drums, Ryan Diloreti on Spoken Word • Mixed by @klintbeastwood at Sunset Sound, Hollywood Mastered by @jacobkorn.de @ Tailout Artwork and design by @christianbarker Distributed digitally by @epmmusic

For the past almost year, during a big transition era in my life, I’ve been diving into my creativity in a way I never have. There were always excuses before: it was due to a lack of time, effort, motivation and also confidence. I’m proud to have found meaning in my transition era, thanks to my “death bed lens” — what would I really regret not doing in this life moment of change, of having time? I decided to put a ton of energy into getting three major projects out into the world, three projects that represent the three strands of my musical identity: 1) classical - ambient symphony for chamber orchestra and electronics (released late August), 2) electronic - Dubstep Golden Records hexology all vinyl mix series (released early December), and now finally 3) indie rock - my album ‘Old Growth’ as Grander Gestures (comes out this Friday 3/21), including a rec release show w/ 15pc band of stunning musicians. Before these official releases, I could never fully think of myself as an artist. There was a lot of imposter syndrome, getting older and older, thinking/knowing I was a valid artist but having nothing to show for it, which was compounded over 12yrs of working very closely everyday with thousands of incredible artists doing the thing. Now I have real work out there and I feel so validated - I’m proud of my effort and I have many of you to thank for this validation too. It’s interesting though, and somewhat unexpected, that at this point the thing that makes me feel more like an artist than anything else is these artist photos taken by beloved @shainarosee a couple weeks ago. It’s my first time ever doing a photo shoot tbh and I’m so happy with how they came out, it helps everything feel more real and ties all the effort and output together into an artist brand in a way nothing else can. Feeling really inspired and full of gratitude these days, despite the world being on fire. Art is resistance and hope, a safe haven and social commentary. I’m keen to keep art central to everything I do, and I’m dedicated to continue supporting everyone else in my life -many of you- that makes it too… until I’m gone. Sending love 💜

Grander Gestures - Old Growth Mini album TC02: Nostalgic Wavs 02; Yearning; WLC011 Out 21st March, 2025 Digital preorder live Bandcamp Friday 7th March Hey this is Skwirl here to gab at you briefly about the records we have coming for this year’s thematic cluster! The theme is Nostalgic Wavs and each record has been linked to a concept under the rather large umbrella of nostalgia as a function of emotional attachment to memory.  Our second record for Nostalgic Wavs is Southern California based composer Coleman Goughary’s singer-songwriter debut as Grander Gestures. It is our “Yearning” record - as categorised on our Nostalgic Wavs map as Past, Reflective; Unknowing. Titillating music proj announcement coming soon from my Grander Gestures production/songwriting project and @woodland_creatures_label 👀 Reaching back to late December 2023 with this post bc I never gave it a proper shout - my first ever music release as Grander Gestures in the form of a remix for @skwirl_shido ‘s astounding album ‘Oh Snap!’ Which led to a long and prosperous (and very much still alive) music friendship. Piers has been a massive supporter of my music making - perhaps no one in the world more so - which leaves me with the utmost respect and gratitude for him and his unwavering support. It in no small part gave me confidence to dive back into songwriting and start finishing grand (grander?) projects, and for that I’m forever thankful. It’s with a lot of excitement that I find myself in the Woodland Creatures community of talented music-makers and I’m overjoyed to be delivering something soon to you all, signed and sealed by WC 💐🙏🏼✨ I’d be remiss if I didn’t also point a giant neon finger in the direction of Piers’ own music as well, simply incredible stuff, very wide-ranging and emotional, and expertly produced. Do yaself a favor and dig into his Skwirl and Shido projects as well as the Woodland Creatures and ~sidehatch~ label discogs. Love you brother 💜💜 Stay tuned! 📈🔝 #musicproduction #leftfield #woodlandcreatures #grandergestures #musicproject #indiemusic #singersongwriter #remix
