MEAT THE MAKERS 🥩 Last week @grainfedbeef hosted a gorgeous event showcasing a four course dinner and a behind the scenes look at how premium grain fed beef is produced. It was both a mouthwatering and insightful night with an interesting panel chat with the producers and @_ghanemgroup ’s Executive Chef @jake_nicolson .
On the menu were carefully curated dishes by the brilliant Jake himself. We couldn’t get enough of the plump Oxtail Raviolo + slices of Master Selection Wagyu Striploin on beef bone broth. The Sir Thomas Angus Prime Rib + native pepper crust melted in my mouth and the candied bresaola from @saison_small_goods atop the creative dessert was to die for 😍
Meat the Makers is an annual event in partnership of some of Brisbane’s best steak venues including this one at @blackbirdbrisbane . Keep your eyes peeled for the next one!

At last month’s Zoetis Angus Expo, part of the World Angus Forum, guests didn’t just learn about Angus cattle they tasted the story, live.
