Let Aunty take care of you. Here’s what we ate:
- Sichuan cucumber salad with wood ear mushrooms, crushed peanuts, sesame
- Charred lamb ribs with coriander and anchovy dressing, pickled green chilli
- Cauliflower and mushroom spring rolls with miso dipping sauce
- Chicken xiao long bao with chicken and lemon thyme broth
- Char siu pork puffs with water chestnut and wattleseed
- Wagyu stir fried beef, oyster sauce, kai lan, five pepper blend
- Fermented chilli half chicken, spiced broth, citrus oil
- Sides of jasmine rice and charred Asian greens with oyster sauce, crispy garlic and chilli oil
And for dessert:
- Five spice caramel crunch bar, chocolate ganache, candied cashews

My FAVOURITE bar in Brisbane, officially. Our menu included:
- Stracciattella cheese with garden pea pesto, jamon, gremolata, sourdough, pea shoots
- House pickles
- Buttermilk fried chicken skewers, fermented chilli, sesame, furikake
- Lamb burger, red onion, baby cucumber, spiced tzatziki
- Basque baked cheesecake, miso salted caramel, marmalade, charred orange, grapefruit
- Uncle Wes’s Drunken Cookies, milk & dark chocolate, banana liqueur, sea salt, served with ice cold milk.
You can find Death & Co underneath the iconic Regatta Hotel in Toowong. The entrance is blink-and-you’ll-miss-them stairs off the carpark, with a teeny tiny sign whispering their name.
