All the hard work, drilling, and late-night practices paid off with a gold at APP Mixed Doubles Open 4.5 🥇 Start of 2026 in the best way POSSIBLE ❤️ Special thanks to my partner @gracey.pb for playing extremely well and steady throughout the event 💯 Could not have asked for a better teammate on court. 🤣 even i’m on disbelief on the last rally but okay yay!!! We had 25 minutes warm up practice @tangalmond before our game and we went into our first game! “She’s so lucky!” 🍀 June 2024: Started pickleball because my husband wasn’t home for 2 months. August 2024: Played my first tournaments… and lost badly 💀 September 2024: Started hosting countless drills because I was tired of losing + not getting approved for 3.0 Reclub hosts 😂 May 2025: Left the business I built for 7 years because my heart was fully on pickleball. Took a 6-month break just to play full-time. June 2025: Base @playatbase believed in the dream of an everyday player that was a 3.34 then chasing Road to 4.0 becoming their first sponsored amateur athlete & ambassador. August 2025: Started winning back-to-back intermediate titles and felt ready for something bigger. September 2025: Won first PPA title in Australia 🇦🇺 February 2026: Won first APP title in Malaysia 🇲🇾 & got first Gold 🥇 May 2026: Won first WPC title in Thailand 🇹🇭 After playing pickleball for close to 2 years, i finally felt a little ready to represent a paddle brand @teamfridaypickleball ✨ I see creativity, good quality paddles, community-driven, fun, underdog elements in it & i wanted to be able to represent a brand that speaks similar language 🤭 also, cause somehow clicked with @james_lin.pb (i love how he can converse mandarin & english in one sentence like Malaysian!!) send this to your sparring partner that is looking to get better double backhand dinks ✨ the biggest takeaway that i had from @james_lin.pb was that small muscles would lead to inconsistency. if you want more consistency, focus on using big muscle group instead! also, i really been enjoying this new paddle so far! 😂 i somehow had a misconception that @fridaypickleball paddles are meant for beginners and its not meant to used in tournaments, hence i never taken it seriously until I tested it @bryan_tok paddles weeks back, and decided to get one myself too. it only took me 2 sessions to transition from my previous paddle to this 🥹 coming from a long term widebody paddle user, this paddle was super easy to manage! i played WPC Penang & WPC Bangkok with it & gotten my first podium with it too 🥈☺️ definitely excited to see where it leads me to! 📍 @playatbase #Pickleball #PickleballMalaysia #PlayAtBase #FridayAuraPro
