Pickleball feels easy… until your body reminds you it’s still a sport! “just because it easy, doesn’t mean your tendons & muscles wouldn’t be overworked” 💬 In this chat with Redmond from @synapse_physiotherapy , we unpack something a lot of pickleballers don’t realise. 1. Why pickleball feels easy but injuries still happen 2. The most common injuries we see among players (yes… tennis elbow is one of them) 3. What to do immediately if someone gets injured on court If you’re playing 2–5x a week or just starting to get more serious, this is something every pickleballer should know. Prevention > rehab. Always. :) Send this to your pickle friend who plays like their body is indestructible 👀 . . . . . . #Pickleball PickleballMalaysia #SynapsePhysiotherapy

If you flick a lot or have been overusing your wrist lately, there’s a higher chance you might develop tennis elbow 👀 Redmond from @synapse_physiotherapy shared a few simple home tests you can try to check if what you’re feeling might actually be tennis elbow. Early awareness = faster recovery ✨ Try these out and see how your elbow feels and don’t ignore the small signs your body is giving you. 📍 @synapse_physiotherapy , Damansara Heights . . . . . #PickleballPhysio #PickleballInjury #PickleballMalaysia #SynapsePhysiotherapy

This summer, Team Synapse had the incredible opportunity to provide sports physiotherapy support to the Penguin International Rugby Football Club at their tournament in Bologna, Italy 🇮🇹🏉 Our journey began in London, where we arrived a few days earlier to catch up with old friends — and even squeezed in a match at West Ham Stadium ⚽️ before heading off to Italy for some well-earned pasta therapy 🍝 The tournament in Bologna was nothing short of electric. Both the Penguin men’s and women’s teams played brilliantly and claimed victories over Bologna Rugby Club 💪🔥 We’re proud to be part of their performance journey, keeping players moving strong and injury-free. Huge thanks to the Penguins for trusting us once again — here’s to more global rugby adventures ahead! 🌍🦍 #SynapsePhysiotherapy #SportsPhysio #PenguinRugby #Bologna2025 #RugbyLife #PhysioOnTour #ItalyWithSynapse

Today, we’re here to discover one of the most common problems in pickleball injuries. Featuring @redmondweihao from @synapse_physiotherapy , breaking down what most players ignore until it’s too late. In this episode, Redmond shares 4 simple tests you can do at home to check if your knees are actually ready for the game… or just surviving it. Because sometimes it’s not your strokes, it’s your body mechanics! Try them and see for yourself or just reach out to @synapse_physiotherapy You might realise it’s not “just soreness” after all. ⚠️ Disclaimer: These tests are for general awareness only. Perform at your own risk and stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort. Always consult a qualified professional if you’re unsure.
