my debut album crowdfunder is now live!! hello lovely people I have launched a crowdfunder to support the recording and release of my debut album I am both very excited and nervous about launching this If all goes well, the album will be recorded at Lamigo Bay Studios in the very North of Scotland at the end of March. It is coincidentally (I am not related to the lovely owners) built just outside of what was my great-great grandmother's house - it feels like a very unique and special opportunity to record an album there whilst connecting with part of my heritage I will share much more in the coming weeks about the project, and there are house gigs on the cards 🌙 I'm delighted to be working with a team of very talented musicians on this project, some you may see in this post some are yet to be revealed xo If you check out the crowdfunder there is a video of me explaining the project and offerings in more detail 🌟 I am so grateful for any support you can offer, and for any support you've already offered along the way Taing mhòr 🤍 Xx 📷 @jackfingland

finally sharing some pics from the last leg of the March tour! thank you @ewenpryde for snapping these lovely pics of the @cultarlann_inbhir_nis gig 🤍 oidhche sònraichte - taing mhòr gu @ro_music_0 and @jamiemacrae_ 'son seinn cuideachd, tha na h-òrain aca iongantach math xx and we made a wee bit of history as this was Cultarlann's first gig !! here's to many more for them see also a video from the @sketchybeats gig, @lewismclaughlinmusic jumped up for a song or two with me as did @jackfingland (who also opened the show), this was a very fun time xo and so special to round it off back in Glasgow with a gig with @soundcause_events fundraising for @say_women 🤍 there's a clip of me singing a new song of mine called 'poison' that reflects on my time working in a job where I witnessed a lot of injustice, it felt apt to get to sing it at this fundraiser - thank you to Sarah at @soundcause_events for making it happen xx the crowdfunder is still live as I decided to keep it going for the full amount of time crowdfunder allows. so unbelievably grateful for all the support! what an experience March has been xx the album is due to be recorded in Summer now, more on that soon - I will post a wee bit more of an update on the crowdfunder page

exciting news! @creativescots have matched nearly all your pledges in the crowdfunder, and will continue to do so until we reach the now new (!!) target.
