In 2026, Logie Steading will celebrate a remarkable milestone: 100 years since the Steading buildings were first constructed as a model farm. For much of that century, the Steading thrived as a working farm, only beginning its transformation into the vibrant destination it is known as today in the early 1990s.
To mark 100 years of place, people and community, Logie Steading will host a lively programme of celebrations throughout 2026. The year long festivities will shine a light on the Steading’s rich heritage and the community that has shaped it.
Highlights will include a centenary exhibition featuring photographs, stories and artefacts spanning the last century, a summer BBQ with heritage bread making demonstrations, farm and garden walks and talks, exploring the land and its history, as well as special displays and features across the shops at the Steading. With more events being planned, there are more events to be announced so keep an eye on the Logie website and newsletter for updates!
As part of the celebration, visitors and locals alike are warmly invited to share their own memories of Logie — from farming tales to family outings, big life moments to quiet favourite corners.
