This week has been a roller coaster for me…. I don’t even have time to get into the details… but, just wanna do a shout out to this guy…. Meant to do it yesterday on our anniversary of the day we met, May 14th…. Life has been forever better with you in it! Love you @chiron_shapes
✨ Still Got It and then some. 🏡 After over a year of renovations, this stunning Fullerton home is finally ready for its family to enjoy. What began as a beloved mid-century gem has been transformed into a breathtaking modern masterpiece. Huge thanks to our incredible partners @provalueconstruction and Travis of @koheiddesign for bringing this vision to life. The wait was absolutely worth it.

The daughter’s suite stole our hearts on this one. A dreamy built-in vanity wrapped in pink toile wallpaper by @schumacher1889 , a wavy burgundy mirror, blush hide seating, and a bath finished in calacatta marble and unlacquered brass, all part of our Newport Nantucket project featured on last year’s home tour.
This home was the epitome of masculine versus feminine and we couldn’t have made this suite more suited for our fashion forward client. Did we mention that her bathroom won an @nkbasocal award!?
Can’t believe the @newportharborhometour is back again, if you got a chance to attend last year then you saw this home on tour. Sadly, it won’t be showing this year- but we can’t wait to see all the homes!

While at @highpointmarket we had a little fun, ok, a lot of fun. Maybe too much that we have to make a little fun of ourselves!
@katiemiller_designer is truly one to not take herself too seriously. 😂
Who knows where this is from?!
Happy Saturday from the Grace Blu office to you! What a week. Seriously, what an absolute blur of a week. I cannot even begin to tell you what a fun, but packed week we all had. So, I thought I’d share a little fun of how we like to enjoy our beautiful office and how we always envision making subtle changes, whether it’s the wallpaper or a light fixture, we get inspired by our projects and sometimes get the urge to change things up a bit. Perhaps we change out a few things.
I haven’t had a chance to even sit down until this Saturday morning to process this week or share more from our Estate Partners trip to Napa or the beautiful @laurashouseoc gala I attended. But I swear I will!
Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weekend and gets some rest!!! Check back soon for more insight into our world!

Did Rona of @graceblu and I discover and bond over our unexpected mutual love for all things rap, Dr. Dre, Tupac, color and pattern, business ownership triumphs and trials, disco balls, irreverent humor in design? And does she have THE COOLEST podcast studio in all the land? Well yes we did. And yes she does. #duh #podasters #podswap #girlboss #interiordesigners
This trip was Natasha’s dream…. We are all here to honor her and fulfill it.
Thank you to the Estate Partners for creating such a magical experience in Napa for all of us to experience.
It’s only Day 1 and loving every minute.
Friends, colleagues, redwoods, great architecture, and wine.🍷 What more can you want?
On this #MoodboardMonday, we’re currently designing a Bali inspired luxury garage where elevated function meets serene, organic design.
Layered woods, natural stone, and rich, earthy tones are setting the foundation for a space that feels both grounded and refined.
Still in the works, and we’re excited to bring this vision to life.

This last month, April, literally felt like a blur 💨. The month started off with a panel speaking to fellow women about empowering women in the design industry hosted by Jennifer Convy @jenniferconvy from @womeninluxurydesign at California Closets in HB.
I filmed four podcasts- that I cannot wait to share!!!
Spoke on 3 panels that had such great impact and felt honored to be the presence of the guests. Shared so much of my Why and What.
Visited some of our favorite vendors, whether it was their showrooms or their launches.
Spent some great quality time with my favorite people in the industry. My friends.
Took a trip, my first trip ever, to @highpointmarket in North Carolina, with my Lead Designers and my Brooch Man- @ericmichaelentertains . Amazing and @storied_interior_design .
I vacuumed and got the AirBnB in tip top shape. Oh did I mention we immediately changed the color temperature on all the LED lights in the house to warm? You cannot host a house full of interior designers with cold hospital lighting OMG it was awful.
Finally, we spent so much time in antique markets and showrooms learning so much about products and sitting in testing everything that we specify for our clients. It was truly amazing.
Oh, did I almost forget it’s Mom DoorDash season because my son is back at lifeguarding for the summer.
There’s almost too much to pack in for one month. Let’s see what May brings us.

Women in Luxury Design is so honored and thankful to all of you who made our event SO special! And to all who made this possible! It takes a village and we have an amazing village! Thank you to California Closets in their beautiful Huntington Beach location and thank you to ASID Orange County for all your continued support! Thank you to Mike Cassidy and Kaylee Araiza and the team at California Closets, along with California Homes Magazine and Editor-in-Chief Susan McFadden, for hosting such a beautiful and meaningful evening for Women in Luxury Design. The Designing Women Series, “Women of Impact,” truly lived up to its name. Because of our extra ordinary women panelists!
From the moment guests gathered over cocktails, conversation, and laughter, the energy in the room was warm, welcoming, and inspiring. The evening flowed into a thoughtfully curated dinner experience, elevated by an incredible feast from Chef Kyle Powers of Fork in the Road Catering, which set the stage for deeper connection and reflection.
The panel, a curated, produced and moderated by W.I.L.D. founder, Jennifer Convy, offered an engaging and honest look into the journeys behind success. Tammy Randall Wood, Rona Graf, and Erica Laurén Hay each shared powerful stories of resilience, pivots, and the unexpected forces that shape both our personal and professional paths. Their candor reminded us that leadership is not linear, that “the journey is the destination,” and that growth often comes from embracing change and staying open to new opportunities and sometimes just plain grit!
Grateful to have shared the evening with such talented friends, clients, and new connections. Events like this remind us of the power of community and the impact of women supporting women.
Empowered Women Empower Women
We look forward to continuing to grow this vibrant community and to welcoming even more voices into the conversation in our future upcoming events soon.
We will share the feature of this event when it come out in the next issue of California Homes Magazine!
