✨ Still Got It and then some. 🏡 After over a year of renovations, this stunning Fullerton home is finally ready for its family to enjoy. What began as a beloved mid-century gem has been transformed into a breathtaking modern masterpiece. Huge thanks to our incredible partners @provalueconstruction and Travis of @koheiddesign for bringing this vision to life. The wait was absolutely worth it.

Who needs Balboa when you have the fun zone at home? Overhead heaters, bench seating, and of course, ping pong make this courtyard a backdrop to your family gatherings.

The space that keeps the kids out of the neighborhood and in your own backyard. This residence for a family has it all, and in California, even winter can be pool season.

PROJECT LOCATION: 620 / 618 Heliotrope Ave, Corona del Mar
PROJECT TYPE: Duplex / Speculative
PROJECT SIZE: 2000 / 1000 ft²
DEVELOPER: Rellion Inc., Lin He
On one of Corona del Mar’s most coveted walk‑streets, the Heliotrope residences introduce a new level of architectural clarity and sculptural refinement to the coastal duplex typology. Conceived as two meticulously crafted homes, the project elevates the neighborhood’s design language through disciplined massing, luminous interiors, and a geometric rigor more often associated with bespoke single‑family architecture.
Each residence is centered on a soaring double‑height entry volume that channels daylight deep into the plan, creating a vertical cadence that unfolds across three levels of connected living spaces. The architecture is composed as a dialogue between calm, proportionally pure platonic forms and precisely folded tapered planes—an interplay that brings both serenity and sculptural tension to the narrow lot.
A defining signature is the continuous knife‑edge roofline, a refined reinterpretation of the area’s historically fractured infill silhouettes. Instead of zig‑zag profiles shaped by constraint, the knife‑edge introduces a single, uninterrupted horizon—sharp, confident, and seamlessly integrated into the massing. It resolves height limitations with intention, reinforcing the purity of the volumes and giving the project a distinctly contemporary presence.
Through its sculpted geometry, elevated spatial sequencing, and coastal luminosity, Heliotrope sets a new benchmark for modern living in Corona del Mar—bold yet disciplined, expressive yet livable, and unmistakably crafted for a more design‑literate audience.
Pool season already? It is the most wonderful time of the year, but if you want to be swimming in your new pool on Memorial Day, the best gift you can give yourself a Koheid Design landscape plan (and the time it takes to install it). Get started now so you can be swimming by summer.
