We enhanced the overall cosmetic by changing it to light green and adding some texture to the housing. The internal mechanism also received yet another minor adjustment to further improve the performance.
Last time I asked you guys to sign up through DM….I was a moron ‘cause that soon turned into a mega chaotic fiasco lol. Due to popular request we made a last minute change to the MBB 3PDT and now it’s the same green as our standard 3PDT. In order to avoid confusion I also had to change the name and I picked “Legato” because it means smooth transition without cutting off, which is perfect for make-before-break switches :) (approved by a piano teacher friend of mine) in about 3 weeks I’ll have 1000 units of final samples here which just freshly came out from our newly built automated production line. Will post updates as soon as I pick up the shipment!

How’s everyone’s 2024 so far? Hope you’re all enjoying a warm winter and not affected by polar vortex? I’m blessed that it’s only been -5°C here and not -30°C. Still very difficult to get up in the morning though :(
I haven’t posted since quite a few months ago! Been working on some big OEM projects and also R&D for a few products of our own. The market is changing so fast that the product ideas we came up 2 years ago seem silly now. Very glad that we were able to keep 25% ~ 30% annual growth since start and I’m having high hopes for 2024 as well!
We now have PCB pin toggles and we added on-off-on option per request! We also have a few custom C65s in cab yellow (boss OD-2) and granite (semi-gloss). The toggles are available through website and custom C65 through DM only because we only have a few of them. Best of luck to y’all fellow builders! Hope you guys enjoy good health, biz growth and happiness with family & friends in 2024 ;)

Got the first MBB 3PDT sample batch. Final product should have dark gray housing and black bottom panel. Per mentioned before these are hand assembled as we are still building automated production line, but they should be good enough for reference purpose.

After a year and half of painful development we finally finalized the MBB 3PDT. There were 4 major changes and each version has several variants so we have gone through more than a dozen prototypes already. Every time we try to optimize the performance it’s like 0.01mm modification here and there and a few % of plastic/fibreglass mix ratio changes. If you are familiar with manufacturing you can try to guess the costs of injection mold modifications ;) I’m so glad that we are able to finalize this project before it bankrupts us lol.
Anyway the final product will be much better looking than the one in the images. It will take another 2 weeks for final mold modification before we launch a small batch of hand-assembled sample batch for open beta test. They might not be perfect as you can see in the test result in the last image (credits to Nick/XDunwichAmps by the way) that one of the 2 tested switches has 1 set of poles making unwanted bounce. That will be solved when we setup automated production line and let the robots take over the assembly work.
I still need to find a good way to send out the samples to beta testers because if each shipment costs $10 then the total cost can easily add up to a big sum. I’m thinking to work with a few dealers (if they are willing) so when you guys buy stuff from them they can include a sample. Not sure if this is feasible but I’ll do my best.

Haven’t been updating IG for a long time! How’s everyone doing?
Just want to post some quick updates so you guys know what we have been working on. We just restocked the Espresser box caps and added 2 new values - 3.3nf and 33nf. These are also 5% tolerance metalized polypropylene made in the same factory that supplies to certain electric car company with big T mark. And since we got the caps now, MAE Laran DIY kits are also back in stock!
MBB 3PDTs. I’ve lost count how many revisions we have done. The core design is finalized and we are just making minor adjustments and testing different plastic/fibreglass mix ratio to achieve consistent performance (de-bounce) in mass production units.
DIY Stereo kit. Very close to finish and we were about to make final sample but the price negotiation went south. We even sent an agent to the factory to negotiate but still no luck. Have to seek alternative solution :(
There will be new DIY kits coming. A mini fuzz in M45 size and a tremolo in C65 size.
We will be mass producing Nomad portable amps for Templo Devices. It’s a very versatile unit with loads of convenient features. We even developed a custom speaker for it :)
