When I bought my first machine I had no idea what I was doing, there was no playbook. 8 years and 10 successful machines later I’m going to change that. Just sent in the last chapter for edit. Is it obvious I just learned how to use sound effects? Just finished writing a book about building a business and now i can’t stop talking about it. so. here we are. 3 things I actually believe about bringing an idea to life: 1. be loud about it before it’s ready. yes, you’ll be accountable if things change. but the people worth having around will respect that building is human and messy. the benefits - the support, the clarity, the community - outweigh the risk every time. 2. collect no’s like they’re a success metric. because they are. you’re not looking for every partner. you’re looking for the right one. the path runs straight through a lot of rejection. that’s not a sign to stop. that’s the path. 3. take your idea seriously. don’t take yourself too seriously. you’re just a little baby that grew up and now you’re trying something - and that’s the bravest, coolest thing a person can do. we’re little ants on a giant rock. we might as well go for it. ➕ you are what makes your business special. especially right now, when the world is about to be flooded with AI everything. your weird specific self is the competitive advantage. carry it lightly though. heaviness doesn’t move. more of this coming. comment below if you have questions. #smallbusiness #creativeentrepreneur #businesstips #goodthingsvending #vendingmachinebusiness
