🎄🍴🎁 🥘🎅❄️ W12 Christmas Dinner 2025 W12Together hosted a Christmas Dinner with the aim of helping make Christmas Special for Local Care Leavers in W12 and the @hfcouncil borough. This project was done in collaboration with the @goldftstone foundation. This was the second year that W12Together hosted the Care Leavers’ Christmas Dinner. It was a free event full of warmth, good food, and community for young people in our area who have recently left care and may otherwise spend Christmas Day alone. We provided transport to and from the venue so that every care leaver attended safely. Each young person also received a high-quality Christmas hamper—including wellbeing gifts and donated items—to help them feel valued, seen, and supported. What We Delivered: * A free Christmas lunch  * A full day of festive activities and connection * Safe transport to and from the venue on Christmas Day * High-quality personalised hampers for each care leaver * A trained team of local volunteers supporting the day * A welcoming, inclusive space that felt like home Special thank you to everyone who donated and contributed to the event, including @edcity_uk for providing us with the venue, @westyouthzone (a space for young people aged 08-19) for food, activities and general support, @aunt_sisters_bakery for the wonderful cakes (go check them out), @imperialcollege and Reverend Nicola @churchofstmichaelstgeorge for the gifts and @bestofbeautywc for the wonderful items. The event would not have been possible without the @spacehive platform and @hfcouncil community levy. Finally to all our wonderful volunteers who gave up their Christmas Day to support us in hosting the young people, we are very grateful.
