Hey folks! After around 8 months of collecting dust on the shelf, I finally wrapped up this overdue project.
Just to make it clear from the start, absolutely no AI was used for the photoshoot.
Everything you see here was done using real practical effects.
Water: amazing product from
@akinteractive.official Water Gel Pacific Blue
Sea foam:
@greenstuffworld Sea Foam Texture, looks so tasty I could honestly eat it
Fog/background: LENSGO SMOKE GO
Rain: water mister
Lighting: NEEWER RGB Video Light
Camera: Lumix LX100 II
As always, I had a blast during the shoot. This time my whole desk ended up soaking wet lol.
This is also my entry for
@grimdark_compendium Black Chalice open category in the Single Miniature category.
For the skin of this beast I used the PVA skin technique, layering several coats of PVA glue. The idea originally came from
@pictornox and was really well presented in a tutorial by
@brudepainting on his profile, definitely check it out yourselves. On top of that I experimented with something of my own, a pretty wild technique of injecting enamel under the skin. Sounds brutal? I felt like Dr. Frankenstein. I recorded a few short clips showing how it works and I’ll post a reel for anyone interested soon.
Model: N'Gorroth Trawler by
@bestiarum.games . My favorite collection ever.
Rust here and there by
@goblinshut DD Rust.
As always, I highly recommend joining the
@conclave_obscura Discord, it’s genuinely worth it.
See ya!
