𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒔 is on view today & tomorrow at Platform Project Space! Come see watercolors by 𝑮𝒂𝒃𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒔-𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒛 in the exhibition. The artist presents a group of five watercolor drawings, a sliver of the many she made daily over the past year at studios in Mexico City and New York City. Unlike her larger, digitally manipulated work, these pieces are more spontaneous and direct. She states, “Architectural detail, geometry and language are prominent. Really, they are as much writing prompts as drawing prompts. I want these watercolors to feel less like art and more like thoughts.” Don’t miss the chance to see these beauties! 𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒔 closes tomorrow at 6pm.
