So honoured to share that Yellow has been shortlisted for the 96th Academy Awards! Literally a dream come true, thank you @theacademy for the recognition 💫💛 Women and girls in Afghanistan have been banned from education for the past two years - this film is for them. With everything happening in the world now it feels like a privilege to get to make films and to have a voice at all. Which is all the more reason to bring things to light with the stories we tell, I'm so glad people like @zoradzo are doing just that. Honoured to have my work featured on the @dolbylabs Creator Talks Podcast on sound design in short films! Our director @zoradzo sat with Glenn Kiser to talk about our process building the sound world of @softrainsfilm . Always such a pleasure to work with Elham because he is so passionate about how powerful sound can be in telling a story and expressing a feeling, down to the very smallest detail. Happy to share that three wonderful films I've worked on will be showing at @britishfilminstitute LFF this year ☺️ 'HAPPY SNAPS': Screening as part of the 'LFF for Free' programme in 'London Calling: Everyday Escapes', 13th & 20th October On the Isle of Sheppey, two boys try to enjoy a last day together. Their adventures are captured by Gabriel, who has cerebral palsy, on an old camera. But as the day goes on, fears about the future cloud their friendship. - 'SEE IT SAY IT': Screening in the 'Trials and Tribulations' shorts programme, 9th & 14th October A nightmare of terror unravels when a struggling actor is confronted with a stranger’s prejudice whilst commuting to an audition. - 'RED SOIL': Screening as part of the 'Honouring Traditions’ programme, 17th October The family of Mama, a beloved Nigerian elder, explore ancient burial traditions as they prepare for her funeral.

I'm so excited to finally share this film ✨️ THE WALK will have its world premiere at @docnycfest in New York 🗽 Worked as sound effects editor on this alongside @sammosounds and it was a lot of very gratifying work including designing the sound of an 11 foot puppet! THE WALK is the second feature documentary from HONEYLAND co-director, Tamara Kotevska. It's a film about the innocence of childhood, and the power of imagination, in a time of crisis and follows the cross continental odyssey of Amal, a 3.5 metre high puppet. #TheWalk
