Although Mrs. Mariam had never had a shoot herself, she made sure her kids had birthday photographs. That’s just one of the many sacrifices mothers make for their children.
I’m an only child to a single mother, so of course, I believe We need more Mother’s Day in a year (ok, maybe more Father’s Days too. 😂).
Happy international Mother’s Day to every mother out there. Your sacrifices will never be in vein and may all the seeds you plan grow up and take care of you for many years to come.
I’m so glad she gifted us the opportunity to document her and her beautiful family.

Joy in April.
While photographing Joy, I just knew I wanted to depict this idea of “the smiling Rose that grew out of nothing.”
That’s entirely what the first frame is about. The rose emerging from the dark vignette signifying “Nothing.”
I thoroughly enjoyed photographing her with the team and I’m looking forward to doing more of this.
I just want to say a special shoutout to the team, you will hardly find a more hardworking and absolutely selfless group of people.
Thank you for the immense support and contributions, bringing the expertise you all charge millions for, to this project and helping me transform it into the stuff of dreams.
