🏁 🔥 Almost blew a gasket when I saw the final pieces build by @lunaluna.studios and painted by @valleykustoms for the @wearebraindead booth at @doverstreetmarketlosangeles I had the pleasure of working with @visualadhesive doing the design work on these. Normally I'm a little more in the fab work as well but it was cool focus on the design aspect and let some talented people do their thing. Excited to go see these in person.

Tomorrow the northern hemisphere will be farthest from the sun which marks winter solstice. The longest night of the year. I’ve been working on some ceramic sculptures for the last few years and been sorta secretly posting about it on another account under @abtractumfigura . It feels appropriate to reveal this for a small group show by the name “night of illumination” where all pieces will be lighting based. I have a couple lamp sculptures that I’m excited to showcase. Tomorrow 12/21 at Snail Farm on 501 s. Ave 17 from 6-10pm. Please come by if you’d like to see in person :)

🩸⚰️VAMPIRE HUNTERS WANTED 💀🦇 Pretty cool that this commercial for @playdiablo with @sarahmgellar came out today. This was a really cool one because it was a mix of real set dressing/props and an @unrealengine set that I was able to set dress and dial in at before the shoot. I’ve been doing my own designs in Unreal and I definitely looking forward to more digital production like this. I don’t know why I haven’t posted about this …It was one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on. We created a world influenced by the golden age of country music. A washed up country star learns a thing or two about heartache with the help of his four inch best bud named Archie. We shot last year using both miniature and “bigature” puppets to make the Archie come alive. Really cool stuff 10/10 would do again.
