In Gilded’s work, we’re usually behind the scenes – reporting, writing, editing, etc. In the alchemical process of piloting GREATEST ESCAPES, the “overlords” were born. Part sassy fact checkers, part soundboard operators, these disembodied and obscured voices are Gilded’s own @ben.chugg and @soundcheckcarl alongside FilmNation’s @torytheus .
Arturo’s at the wheel, the guest list is amazing, and each episode is like a twisty heist movie about a truly bananas escape. With the Gilded overlords weighing in, it’s got a late-night tv vibe that’ll make you LOL.

SNAFU Season 2 goes LIVE today!
On the new season, Ed Helms looks back to the 1970s to explore an incredible tale from American history: the daring burglary of FBI offices that exposed a colossal SNAFU.
The story takes place near Philadelphia, where an unlikely group of anti-war activists took unprecedented action to investigate an unchecked FBI. The consequences of their risky heist reached farther than any of them could have imagined… changing their lives, and the course of American history, forever. Recently, Washington Post calls the story “the scoop that rocked America.”

It was a pleasure to work together with @lysscm , @torytheus , @milan_popelka and the amazing team at @filmnationent to produce SNAFU Season 2: MEDBURG along with Betty Medsger, the reporter who first broke the story in 1971. We were able to include the voices of many of the burglars themselves, bring the story up to the present and reveal new details for the first time in 50 years.

Congratulations to creator David Modigliani, an auteur and mensch.
We composed an original soundscape for the world’s largest permanent digital art projection.
The piece is projected onto Chicago’s Art-Deco Merchandise Mart, which was the largest building in the world when it went up in 1930.
The video element of the piece was designed by the brilliant @xannaxnelson at @genslerchicago
It will show nightly through the summer.
