You can bring with you a friend or a family member with you to translate for you. Or you can hire an 'official' translator to come and attend your ceremony (you would need to organise this yourselves).
There are a couple of town halls that can provide an official telephone translation service for you, but most require that your translator (or interpreter) attends in person.

Dylan and Nadine met through TikTok after bonding over a Manchester Orchestra cover, then spent years building their relationship across the UK and Germany through voice notes, video calls, and long-distance visits every few weeks.
Their wedding in Denmark followed that same energy: small, emotional, and completely centred around the life they’d already built together. A quick town hall ceremony at Kolding Town Hall, vows read on a bench outside in the cold, and a destroyed umbrella thrown dramatically into the wind afterwards.
They kept things simple - borrowed outfits, dinner at a local café, a vinyl record called Long Distance bought as their wedding keepsake, then a wedding-themed Dungeons & Dragons session back at the apartment with their best friends.
