Had a chance to visit @assemblyrow ‘s new floating bus stop yesterday. Our team loves seeing new infrastructure that reduces the conflict between bike lane users and pedestrians. We transit dozens of conflict zones on a daily basis that could benefit from thoughtful, quick build improvements like this. Credit to the folks @assemblyconnect and @massdot for making it happen.

Join @ridecargob this Saturday, 10/19 from 10am-12pm on the Southwest Corridor Park in Jamaica Plain to celebrate our newest parking location! We’re going to be joined by our friends @seacoastebikes , @bikesnotbombs ,@get.nemo , the Community Pedal Power E-bike lending library answering questions and offering test rides on different types of electric cargo bikes. Thanks to our friends at @thirdcliffbakery who are generously donating the first 25 test riders a complimentary coffee/ tea (hot/ cold) or a cookie. Third Cliff is right around the corner from the SWCP and across the street from our new location hosted by everyone’s favorite analog photography shop, @catlabs.of.jp ! This event is family friendly and helmets will be provided but feel free to bring your own.

Today our Mechanics can be seen on a daily basis across Harvard’s campuses helping out faculty, staff and students alike through a variety of programs with the University. Who doesn’t love bike counts? NEMO LOVES BIKE COUNTS but we’ve always been interested in more granular data about vehicle type than cities typically provide. One of our interns performed a handful of counts this summer. The results were very interesting! Share it with your bike nerd friends, comment your insights, do whatever you want with it!
