NEWS: Healey-Driscoll Administration Awards $19 Million to Make Public Schools More Energy Efficient & Lower Costs 🏫 Mass Clean Energy Center is excited to announce the awardees of Round 2 of our Green School Works Program, administered on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. In this round, we’re providing a total of $19 million to nine school districts across Massachusetts. The program aims to create safer, healthier learning environments for students and educators by making K–12 public school buildings more modern and energy-efficient, lowering school district costs, reducing pollution, and improving air quality. Over 10,000 students, two thirds of whom come from low-income families, will benefit from our investment in their communities. We're thrilled to build on the momentum of Round 1, which awarded more than $50 million to 18 public schools. Congratulations to the awardee districts! @arlingtonmaps@falmouthpublicschools lpseducation @mp_schools Methuen Public Schools @newbedfordpublicschools Northampton Public Schools @trurocentral@worcesterschools Learn more about the projects ➡️ Link in bio!

Testing is a critical part of building trust in any technology. In a new blog post, #WindTechnologyTestingCenter Engineer Director George Blagdon explains how rigorous testing turns uncertainty into evidence. At WTTC, that means putting full-scale wind turbine blades and other large structures to the test before they reach real world deployment. Read the blog post to get a closer look at why we test ➡️ Link in bio.
