I am so honored to teach Beginning Indonesian courses at University of Pennsylvania and received Penn Prize of Excellence in Teaching by Graduate Students! My student nominated me in secret, so the announcement from
@cetli_penn selection committee came as a pleasant surprise. The award reception was on 21 April at
@upenn.gradcenter - magically coinciding with Indonesian’s Kartini Day, a national day to commemorate R.A Kartini, a figure who fought for women’s rights and education :)
