Nicomo Unmiserable is out! At long last. Listen to it on your commute or on your lazyboy or in your drop-top.
We recorded completely at home, @jdkennedy.sound engineered and made this thing happen, thanks to my old landlords Edge and Zena for allowing/encouraging (“the wifey says you sound like b.b. king!” -edge). @halseyphillipharkins came over a bunch of times and made me finish the record, engineering and singing and playing and sly dog producing. @pomppompeypomp mixed it and made it real - hire that person. @gerardmarcus the ultimate ride or die co producer and everything else. Nothing gets by him. He does a little bit of everything and a whole lot of anything else. @phil.sellwood is the good shepherd, the heartbeat guy, the thwackiest smack with the softest eyes, always there to catch you on a down beat. Thank you to @_oropendola , the fourth beatle, the perfect fifth with a sixth sense, home girl could harmonize a post-it note and make it sound good, magic moment maker on stage everytime. @nokaye thought of the album title kind of accidentally but probably on purpose.

Out now on blessed @switchhitrecords
Buy the vinyl if you dare! on bandcamp
The album comes out May 6 (!!) and the album launch show is happening May 24 (!!!) at the new sick spot Empire Stage. It would mean the🌏 if you could make it.
The link is in the bio. And you should buyo tickets and preorder the record on bandcamp!
This show is featuring the classic one and only nicomo band that we have all come to love - @gerardmarcus@phil.sellwood@_oropendola and nico.
The real thing about this show as that friends collaborators inspirations @miyaxx___ and @thanyaiyer are opening the show. Rare opportunities to hear them in NYC. They were all huge parts of the making of this record are the fucking best ever.
To top it all up to the brim, dear pal and absolute GURU @shane.levi AKA DJ Private Dancer is going to be a musical host of a boogie session, twirling records to make us spin.
Come hang don’t be shy.
And if you can’t make it or also if you can, sign up for the album listening party on the bandcamp!

92 is out! Thank y’all for listening. This is the first single off our LP coming in May on @switchhitrecords and we are delighted as hell to be in those cahoots.
@pomppompeypomp mixed this song into a new realm, invented the otherworldly textures and made it sound so different from the jaunty way we usually play this song live. I love the way he brought out the darkness that is more true to the feeling behind the song. And Alec Spiegelman’s bass clarinet solo in the back nine of the song is possibly my favorite part of the whole album. Listen w/ headphones if you have that capability. @tenrec1 blazed the horn in cape cod, @sammymellman tromboned the song cause we had a little extra time. Most deeply moving is @gerardmarcus sailing the bass and @phil.sellwood raking the rhythm. Crazy. Enjoy, thank y’all, stay tuned ♥️.
Nico Osborne: singing, guitars
Gerard Marcus: singing, bass
Duncan Standish: drums
Alec Speigelman: bass clarinet
Nathaniel Butler: french horn
Sammy Mellman: trombone
92 is about calmly trusting your spirit and moving on your own path in your own way. Owning your decisions and forgiving others for changing your life - loving them for it. I wrote this song on a family trip when I stowed a little guitarlele in my bag and stole away to make music at night. The number just felt good to sing, and I decided it was a significant year and a significant age without checking my own biography. The point is the years fly by and we gotta catch their wind in our sails.
32 today! Gotta work all day though. Here’s a photo of me working (different gig) to mark the day. #norestforbdayboi #bidetboi #burf
