I am thrilled to share the album I designed and photos I captured of my dear friend and vixen Jackie West 💿💿💿💿💿
Jackie and I met when I was 18 and traveling in South America, lost in grief. We ended up traveling together, flying by the seat of our pants, finding ourselves in bizarre places. We remained in touch, and over the years our lives continued to overlap in strange and meaningful ways. I would visit her in nyc and later she moved to the small town where I grew up.
The design is 90s inspired and Jackie inspired. Jackie reminds me of a flower, its cycle and many shapes. The power and timelessness of it as a symbol and motif. Its soft, delicate nature. Its vibrancy and capacity to wilt. Its story of birth and death. When I’m with Jackie I feel the edges of our reality start to peel. It’s a playful, slightly distorted world, holding both levity and depth. Time with Jackie can feel dream-like and ethereal. I wanted to capture this alternate reality, its slightly psychedelic vibration and its softness and allure.

oh hey there! it’s one week until dan and i collab with jesse @absentwarrior at @paradise_of_replica ~ it’s early! 6:30pm 🍓 slide for some awkward observances of our little susie and the tree that’s dun crashed into our garden. what’s a city folk to do? accept the obstacle, thrive with it, i guesss (will learn to handle chainsaw) + the one time i drank two beers with sam izzy and winston in midtown (let’s make it one next time that was a terrible sleep) now a favorite pastime? + sleepover with katy, realizing how lucky i am to witness her in slumber ☁️☁️☁️

it feels like i released *silent century* a couple days ago but it’s almost been a month! thanx for being along for the ride 🎠
later on in the album you’ll hear ‘lovesick doll’ start to play.
it was one of those songs that seemed to come from another place and when i was done with the frenzy of writing it, i knew i was going to leave the city.
